Sona has enabled the centralisation and standardisation across our organisation. The fact that Sona is web and app based is the perfect combination to be able to use it where ever you are and with whatever device you have available. It has enabled easier management oversight, reporting and for staff, a much easier way of seeing their work patterns, and being able to pick up hours whenever they are available.
The Customer Success team are in frequent communication and like to hear from their customers what they need from the system and ask how is best to do that. In the beginning of our implementation it was harder to see what the end product would do, so we have had to make some substantial adjustments along the way. Sona took the time to understand our needs as a specialist care provider and we werre able to ammend an already fantastic rostering sytem into something more bespoke. Finding a sysyem that aligns with all our business objectives of what we were looking for was difficult. We required somethibng that was really user friendly for our support team but also easy to navigate for our administration and management team. Sona really fit the bill for that.
The implementation phase was smooth and efficient. They were proactive in addressing any potential challenges and provided clear, timely communication throughout the entire process. Having one point of contact for all our issues made the implementation really seamless.
One of the standout aspects of working with Sona was their unwavering support. Their team was always available to answer our questions, offer guidance, and ensure that we were fully comfortable with the new system. This level of support has been invaluable to our team as we adapted to the changes. We continue to recieve support and cannot give enough kudos to our Customer success manager Louise who has supported us through the whole journey.
Since the integration, we have seen mass improvements in our workflow and efficiency. Rostering now takes significantly less time meaning our administration and management team can focus on other areas. The new system has streamlined our processes, reduced tasks such as invoicing which has reduced down from a full days processing to 2 hours and allowed us to focus more on strategic initiatives. The positive impact on our business has been undeniable.

Nothing obviouse yet, we have some risk assesments on the implementation given that there is significent reliance on a single system. Sona could improve there offer by giving some up front guidance / reasurance in terms of back up / contingency planning / down time response. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This product allows us to manage and control our rosters more effectively, we no longer have messy paper rosters with scribbles from staff swapping shifts displayed on notice Boards.Monthly rosters are created from templates in minutes, which is a real time saver. Our managers can published available shifts which notifies our staff on the app instantly, managers no longer have to make multiple phone calls to ask staff if they can cover shifts saving vast amounts of time.Our staff can check when they are working from anywhere at anytime, and they are now picking up available shifts which has already saved us paying elevated agency worker costs.Another great feature is Sona 'Wellbeing' where staff check-in to tell us how they feel. Making sure our staff are happy in their roles is extremely important to us, this is a great tool to help us monitor this and we are hoping this will improve retention. You don't have the ability to check your staffs details, managing staff is currently performed by Sona. Although requests are processed quickly this is not ideal, however I am aware a 'Users Management' feature will be available soon which should resolve this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sona has worked with Majesticare to ensure that a holistic solution is provided. They have listened to our requirements and frustrations with current systems and worked with us to provide a system that will work for our teams and us and not just meet our requirements but improve our overall offering. They have ensured the right people within the team are available to answer any questions and have come across extremely knowledgeable within their fields as well as being excellent at communicating regarding our current projects. The team at SONA could not be more helpful and accommodating, they are always keen to hear new ideas and take initiatives to better enhance the product. I have not found anything I dislike yet, the product is constantly being developed and sometimes this can take time but given the growing nature of the business they do manage expectations well on this and always deliver on their promises Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It has helped so much with rota management now that we are not chasing staff for their availability, instead we are posting shifts and it is up to them to take shifts as and when. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
