I use Webexpenses for claiming business mileage in my private car. I don't have to keep track of my mileage anymore because it allows me to enter the postcodes of places I've visited for work. It calculates the miles traveled and automatically calculates the allowance. It's very easy to use; I can just enter the postcodes that I have traveled to for work and see that on a map for verification. If I have made a mistake, I can quite clearly see on the map that I did not travel that far. Also, I can see the history of expenses claimed to check if it's roughly the same each week. I would love an ability to create a template that I can use each week because I have to enter the same start and end miles every time, which is kind of repetitive. All I have to do is hover over a receipt to view it, which makes it easier to switch through receipts. I love having access to the app on the go, as well as the desktop version. It's easy to toggle between profiles, and the ability to take a photo of a receipt and automatically save it to my claim is convenient. Perhaps it's my subscription level, but I don't have the option to save a report into USD, only GBP. I use both GBP and USD reports, and the need to convert back and forth adds to my workload. The app also defaults to UK and GBP, which is very annoying when I've already changed it to USA and USD. If I forgot to categorize the expense before adding to a claim, the screen resets to UK / GBP, even when I've already changed them. Also, the app sometimes takes a photo of only a tiny portion of the receipt,(such as the bar code), and I have to go in and edit the crop it to show the entire receipt. When I start with a receipt, Webexpenses doesn't automatically read much of it, so it's still usually manual entry for the vendor, correcting the amount and currency. The date is usually correct. I wish I could receive notifications on behalf of others. I wish that there was a reminder feature that I could use to resend the submitted report to approvers who have forgotten to approve. A search function would be extremely helpful. For example, how many ChatGPT receipts have I submitted this year? Which would tell me which month is missing. I'm overall happy with Webexpenses, but there are some time wasters surrounding the currency, location, and receipt photo process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. I find the AI on pictures problematic because the prefilled information is not always correct. I was frustrated when my GBP appeared as AUSD, which was incorrect since I have only ever used GBP. Receipts and invoices don’t get lost, which makes the process much smoother with our finance department. It also helps us track payments made, so we have evidence available if it’s required by a supplier. Previously, receipts and invoices were sometimes being lost in our inboxes, but with Webexpenses and a clear process in place, we don’t lose track of payments made. I appreciate how user-friendly Webexpenses is. I was able to get familiar with it fast, and I am comfortable using it. I also like the high-quality customer service. In terms of security, I'm really like that they reset my password many times annualy so it really help my account's privacy.
