Sift Reviews & Product Details

I have been in my company for 5 years and am looking at shifting careers within the organization. Sift has helped me incredibly in learning about various divisions, team members, and overall networking. I can use it to find a team member and reach out to schedule a shadow session to learn more about their role. It's easy to find others with similar interests to me with the search function. Previously, I used it maybe 3x a week to confirm roles within the organization as I saw a name in our programs, and now I'm using it at least once, sometimes twice a day! It's difficult for me to pinpoint anything that I truly dislike about Sift.

One thing that has recently been a challenge for me is that when a search is "highlighting" the same terms I used, it's almost invisible on the page. I'm sure that once I reach out to Support about it, they'll review the issue and will work to make it better.

Sometimes when viewing the Org Chart, it's so expansive that I have trouble keeping up. It just takes a few click and drags to get me back to where I was looking. It's laid out well - might be just user error, haha. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am a recruiter, so it help me learn about our leaders or team members more. Its helps me find answers/the right people to get me the right information at a much faster clip. I love that it share contact info and is like an internal bio of team members.

- Getting to know your business as a new hire

- Internal Communciation

- recruiting and sourcing internal team members for opportunities they dont think to apply for

There is nothing I dislike, its more so "I wish" it did this or that. Like I wish it plugged into other systems we had, like headcount or open seats on a team for tracking.

I would if it could intgrate with our ATS or become an ATS for talent communities.

Sift is awesome product. It has a great user interface, its very fast, informative, easy to integrate with any other product.

I use this product lot of times in a day and I always find it helpful.

I wish some people updated their profile more often - or if it was auto populated. While most people have their profile filled in, there are some that don't have a the details on their profile so it isn't clear what specific things the person focues on within the team Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It helps me keep up with not only my team but other employees throughout our network. Anytime someone asks me who someone is I can pull this up and actually show them. Need to know a birthday without letting someone know that you forgot? Right there. Need a tshirt size and dont want to make someone uncomfortable by asking? No problem, its in sift. It would be nice to make it a requirement to upload a picture of yourself when creating the profile. We have had to chase some people up to get that done. Otherwise, i cant think of anything negative. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that I can search peoples interests, skills, hobbies, etc. and make friends! I have made several friends this way as well has having questions answered. Other competitors I've experienced aren't as organized or have as many options as Sift does. I like that you can also add your pronouns so you can respect others! The best thing about SIFT is having the opportunity to learn more about my peers and their interests outside of the workplace! Great way to make connections. As an Internal Communication Specialist, I use Sift constantly - sometimes upwards of 10+ times per day. It is a borderline life-changing program for my work and I find myself wondering how organizations who don't have a Sift equivalent get by without it! I love how easy it is to find what I need (and what I don't necessarily need, but would like to know nonetheless) - and I love that it makes it possible to get to know someone a litle bit before you even meet them. I would say that I wish Sift was more integrated with Slack (would love if you could click into someone's Sift profile via their Slack profile). I also wouldn't be mad about more customization options in Sift - like the availability to add some creative flair (different color schemes, embedded playlists, etc.) to our profiles.
