I use Sift to find out things about the company and to look up profiles when I'm considering working with someone, which helps me understand their background better. Sift solves the gap of knowing what's happening in the company, making it easy to figure out what various ERG groups are doing and if I should be a part of them. I love using Sift to find people within my organization. There is no way to know everyone or know what department someone works in. Even if you know just a first name or part of a first name due to spelling concerns, it brings everyone up with a photo (if they have one) and its easy to find who you are looking for.
