Very responsive, capable, and a good product. Have accommodated a very complex product catalog and challenging business requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They need to expand their offering to include website crawling to create collections of pages for searching. Or alternatively, load web pages from BigCommerce to do same. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
SearchSpring and its Account and Technical Teams have been true partners in our endeavors to further optimize our Search function and CRO. David and his team always have helpful answers at the right time and their technical support doesn't treat tickets like chores. I also never feel like I am being spoken down to, or have functionality explained above my level of understanding. On top of the world-class service, SearchSpring provides a tool that helps us provide support for nearly a quarter of our revenue, ensuring that users are able to find specifically what they are looking for, as well as what we want to make sure they are able to see. The tool can be a little manually burdensome. Adjustments are not automated and specific instances of keyword or search term mappings and assigned synonyms have to be entered manually. This provides legitimate optimization but can become very time-consuming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love how easy Searchspring makes the search function for my customers; it's very user-friendly from an admin point of view. We have had many successful email campaigns by tailoring our Searchspring campaigns to the exact search results we would like our customers to receive. Plus, with their reporting functions, it is straightforward to learn more about our customers and their needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing that I dislike about Searchspring and there isn't anything I would change about the platform. Searchspring fits all of the needs and requirements that we have as a company. They improve their platform every day, and it just keeps getting better and better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Built-in banners, listening to their community on new features, and it is a very easy program to learn. The metrics are also powerful and help us understand how to proceed with sorting results via pinning or where improvements need to be made. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, I can't think of much that I dislike. There might be a few issues with reports not being generated for a more extended period of time. I think having the ability to pin products but override pins would greatly help (use both custom sorting and Google analytics simultaneously.) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It makes things effortless for me, it is time-saving and totally worth the price Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing as such. The UI though could be a little better, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
SearchSpring gives us the ability to be flexible with our search results and give customers exactly what they are looking for the first time. The ability to customize search brings huge benefits to our customer's experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The learning curve is somewhat high, but the onboarding is great and they work with you as you're learning. Once you get past that, it's a nice platform to work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Searchspring is very flexible, they can work with your catalog feed in nearly any format you provide. They have no problem working with very large catalogs.
I have had a lot of unique requests, and Searchspring has been able to implement all of them. The best part is, when I email support with new specifications or a unique request, their team always understands what I want and gets to work immediately. With a lot of large SAAS providers, you sometimes have to fight to get past Tier 1 support and talk to someone who has knowledge of the platform. This is not the case with Searchspring, all of their support staff has deep knowledge of the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's a little pricey, but that is understandable. You definitely get what you pay for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love how Searchspring allows for multiple campaigns, boosting/bury rules, the functionality to set campaigns to run for an allotted time frame, among many of the various ways online retailers can merchandise their products on their site. The reporting and site customizations have been insightful. They have become valuable tools in making merchandising actions or necessary search optimization, making our site more accessible to our customers to navigate our website and with the products they are searching for. The Success Team has been fantastic in guiding us through the new platform and has shown quick responses with any questions or concerns we may have promptly. Searchspring is an excellent online merchandising tool. I feel like the options are endless and I would highly recommend to others in the market! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I semi-dislike the time after the reindex for us to see specific updates reflect on the site. It may take a while longer to close a task out entirely until we know what the site will look like (if there happen to be any errors, etc.) Not knowing the exact time for when something will change isn't the worst thing. I usually tell colleagues after I've made an update in Shopify, that they should see the catalog or item reflected on the site after the following SS index completes its run. I wish there was a way to customize filter options specific to its collection page (i.e. Furniture price ranges will differ from Pillows price ranges in the left filter bar). Having the images in the SS collections appear the same as those currently defaulted on our site would also be nice (sometimes the images in SS are random like a corner of a coverlet vs. the main image we see on the site). Searchspring has come a long way with functionality in the past couple of years and has really continued to invest in their tool. The search implementation was seamless, and I really felt supported by their team. I appreciate the easy-to-use dashboard that allows me to create merchandising campaigns for low coverting terms easily. It's also intuitive and was really quick to train the rest of the team on the tool. Overall, we've been really pleased with our experience thus far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Recommendations implementation was a little more of a process and they haven't yet built out the same level of reporting for this tool which was a little disappointing. As it goes with most sales teams, a few of the tools promised (AB testing, continuous updates with shopify) weren't ready at the time of implementation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
All of the functionality around search that you can use on the site. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
that index doesn't automatically update. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
