SAP Concur is very helpful because it makes managing expenses and travel much simpler and more organized. Instead of keeping physical receipts or manually filling out reports, everything can be handled digitally in one place. I can upload receipts right away, track expenses in real time, and submit reports quickly without confusion.
The biggest advantage is the time it saves. It cuts down on manual work for both employees and finance teams, and reimbursements tend to be faster because the approval process is more streamlined. Another major benefit is accuracy—since the system can automatically capture data from receipts and apply company policies, there are fewer errors and fewer policy violations.
It also offers better visibility. Managers and companies can track spending more easily, spot patterns, and keep costs under control. Overall, SAP Concur improves efficiency, reduces paperwork, and makes the entire expense process smoother and more transparent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the least helpful aspects of SAP Concur is that it can feel overly complex and not very user-friendly, especially for new users. The interface isn’t always intuitive, so even basic tasks—like submitting an expense or fixing a report—can take longer than expected.
Another drawback is that the system can be slow at times, particularly when uploading receipts or moving between sections. That lag can be frustrating when you’re trying to complete a report quickly.
I’ve also run into occasional accuracy issues with receipt scanning and auto-filled data, which means entries still need to be reviewed and corrected manually. On top of that, strict policy controls can feel rigid, making it harder to submit exceptions even when they’re valid.
Overall, while SAP Concur is a powerful tool, it often requires a learning curve and a fair amount of patience to use efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
