What do you dislike about Salesmsg?

There are a couple of features I wish worked a little bit more fluently on Salesmsg. It doesn't always update the tags, or the contact owner and I have to manually do. But, I'm not sure if that's something to be updated with HubSpot or with Salesmsg! Most of the time this feature works! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Salesmsg?

We have integrated texts into our Hubspot workflow to send out SMS messages to customers who have requested further follow-up. We also use this as a tool for long-term follow-up. Though most of our sales staff prefers to use their cell phones for communication once they have gotten to a more familiar level with the customer, the BDC and other sales managers use it as a way to contact customers. We allow staff to personalize their text messages if they prefer, but we also have text templates saved within sales message for reference. I like that when a message fails, the error code is supplied and we can look into why it isn't going through. This helps weed out bad numbers and customers who are communicating from landlines. It also allows us to have feedback on maybe the text is too long, or was blocked due to the wording etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesmsg?

The only thing I wish we could do is customize it a little more to where each salesperson would be updated if they have a customer texting in, that is assigned to them already in HubSpot. But that is more so the fact that we are using one phone number for the entire dealership. That is likely a moot point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Salesmsg solving and how is that benefiting you?

So yes, its just for a standard contact form that we send out an automated text. Just acknowledging the customer and letting them know we see them and we're here to help. We have then built triggers into hubspot that once a customer views our website so many times, or sends a request in for a sales quote, a task is then generated for the salesperson to follow up with the customer via text. It has helped direct where we go with the customer. Having an automated text go out gives them the opportunity to communicate via text. We also have an automated email go out, so depending on how they respond, we are able to gauge which route of communication works best for this customer. In a time where consumers are getting away from emails, we deal with a market that is typically an older customer so though we find email to be most effective in some cases, it seems like consumers of all ages are growing more comfortable with texting being the main point of communication.

Long term follow up, sometimes we will send out a trade in offer, via text, a mass text going out running a promotion or campaign to try and reengage previous customers. Most research tells us it takes about 7-12 attempts before you actually make contact. It is tricky to find that balance of how to engage customers without annoying them AND effectively communicating. I have found having the integrated Sales Message has allowed me to work more effectively rather than bouncing between my cell and the CRM. I can send out a quick and personalized text, from a number they have seen before, just saying "Hey, have you found the Caravel you were looking for?" sometimes gets that customer to let me know where they are with their search while weeding out customers that maybe already purchased elsewhere, etc. If you scroll through your text inbox, who texts you the most? Typically people who are familiar with you, close to you, and in routine communication. Now we are creating a presence. How many times do you look through your phone a day? How many times do you scroll through your texts to see who you missed, or who you haven't reached out to. That text is a place holder to be on their mind later. Just like a billboard, do you see it and then stop what you are doing and turn right for the next stop that was advertised? No, not typically. But it's in your head now and that business created awareness and grabbed your attention... and that is what a text is, in my eyes. Not always asking for a response or warranting an action, but it is there, taking up space, being seen and sliding in on a more personal level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Salesmsg?

I really enjoy how I am able to sync my Salesmsg up with my Hubspot accounts.

It connects over easily to my mobile app as well.

Whenever we have had any issues the online chat box with customer support has worked great and has been resolved efficiently.

We are easily able to send out mass txt messages to all sorts of clients, and I really like that we have multiple inboxes we are able to use.

The calling feature is simple and easy to use.

My staff find that the AI txt tool to be very easy to use, and will utilize it to compose a good number of their messages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesmsg?

We have found that having one main inbox to be an issues sometimes as each staff member can see everything and will be txting back a different team members clients.

I love the ability to create text to enter keywrods and for our team to be able to text right from the cloud and on the go. It makes things really easy to manage on the fly. The team at sales message has been great, responsive and easy to work with. We're using the platform everyday, and setup has been a breeze. It integrates with our CRM which is awesome! What do you like best about Salesmsg?

Salesmsg integrated perfectly with our CRM and was the best solution to implement SMS automation. After reviewing many systems for use, Salesmsg was the easiest to use and teach the end users. What do you dislike about Salesmsg?

One area we wish was better would be the phone app. We still use a different system for calling that works better for our workflows that way. We'd love to have everything all in once place, however the call feature doesn't meet those needs for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

the fact that it has good notification tones and that interfaces many numbers under 1 suite Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

outgoing messages dont show up in the main inbox which is the logical thing but i would prefer that everytime a conversation gets started that message shows up. So in other words, i can quickly find out if the automations trigger worked. The mobile verion of salesmessage does not play the audio calls.
