the sales rep was nice and wanted to help as best as she could. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Everyone was nice and helpful before we signed up. After we signed up, we couldn't get ahold of the specialists for our 401k, clockshark, or benefits. We had to get other people involved just to get a response from the specific reps for those programs. After hitting error after error among integrations between ADP Run and clock shark and constantly having to try to reach out for support, I'm at my wit's end. I would not recommend anyone switch from a program or software if they are not currently having issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Run is so easy to navigate through, adding employees and all information necessary for their payroll profiles. Processing is an easy process. Setting up our new account was very successful with follow up along the way and also having an implementation team available for questions. Features are easy to navigate through and the integration from our old payroll company to ADP was amazingly seamless and thorough. I am in payroll everyday so I am accessing the account daily to check time clock entries. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Wish I could add customized deduction codes, ie: we do an automatic half hour deduction, I am manually entering this on a daily basis. We don't accrue vacation, PTO, or sick time so again have a deduction code so I could enter on their time sheet would be fantastic. I had both of the features with previous company. ADP Run is a very thorough platform used for Small Business payroll. With reminders and auto questions regarding past history payroll, it proves to make sure we consider all aspects of our payroll. Omission of paying an employee or irregular pay to high or low in compensation, an alert is provided to consider is some one has been missed or overpaid. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes it is necessary to discuss issues with payroll and you are not provided a designated ADP representative that would be familiar with your operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ease of use of the platform and the ability to reach a live person when I have a question.
I also value the webinars and newletters that keep me up-to-date on federal and state regulatory employment changes.
As the business grows, I'm confident ADP has the tools and services we will need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When you first start the layout can be a little confusing, especially if you don't have experience with payroll platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like best about RUN is that my employees get paid timley, accuratley and without it being rocket science. The features in RUN are great, each section of the business has an area that is clear and user friendly. If you are not sure about the section you can check the help section or search bar with ease. Implementing RUN was a breeze with the OTTO onboarding feature. Setting up employees and adding them to payroll is also simple. I use RUN daily not just for payroll but many HR questions. A dislike I have is that sometimes there are long hold times to get to Customer Support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My employees seem to like the ADP interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'm not thrilled with the timekeeping system. My managers don't receive emails when someone requests time off, which means I have to forward them the emails as the Admin. There doesn't seem to be a great place where my managers can look who else has the day off when approving time off requests.
Also, to add my co-owner to the account, she had to set up a completely different account for access. Which is weird. Why can't I do two things with the same email address and phone number as both an employee and an owner?
Our onboarding process was rushed and as we all know, payroll is one area where everythig has to be completely perfect. Had my expectations been set that it would have taken so long I think I would have felt better about it. We were really coming down to the wire.
The employees I ask questions to don't seem super knowledgable. And I have a lot of questions. That said, they're all wonderfully friendly and polite.
One employee contributes to our 401(k) both for Roth and for pre-tax, and there's no way in the system for her not to get two matches. I don't actually DO two matches, but this means that all of the recordkeeping is incorrect. Surely I can't be the only one with this issue.
All this said, I'm not enthusiastic about doing another switch so I'll stay with ADP for the time being. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One of my favorite things about RUN is that is has the capabilities to support a digital onboarding process. This enabled us to switch to a more streamlined process when bringing new employees on board. This has helped to eliminate room for error and make onboarding more clear and easier to facilitate. I do appreciate that RUN offers ADP Salary Benchmarks within the HR section of the platform. However, the wage breakdowns could be more clear and explained further. As the range, base pay, and amount listed within the graphic do not always seem to line up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Compared to our previous provider which used ISolve, which was quite difficult to navigate and made tasks like onboarding employees and pulling reports frustrating, RUN has been a much more intuitive. Everything is much more straightforward and payroll processing is much more efficient for us. I also like the chat support, which makes it easy to get quick answers as I've been learning the new system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the more frustrating issues with RUN is currently there is no way to automate paid breaks into payroll. Instead, I have to manually add in paid break time after having staff clock out, which is frustrating and time-consuming for everybody. It is surprising that there is not a better solution for something as common as paid breaks. Hopefully, this is something ADP can improve in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Run ADP helps me to rest assured that everything is handled by ADP. They do our tax submissions for us, our child support orders and payments, and any other odd requests we might have. Their customer service team is second to none and I've used four payroll companies in my career. I run the books for two companies and both use RUN. It was so easy to implement and integrate into our company's books. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only issue I sometimes find with RUN is that the same person doesn't seem to see a request through to the end - my service requests might bounce from one rep to the next until someone can resolve it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
ADP Payroll services was an excellent choice to switch over from Quickbooks Payroll. They handle all my payroll taxes and anytime I have a question, they are very imformative and prompt handling it. They have very competitive pricing with a variety of other services.
Running payroll is effortless and seamless with easy navigations. I can even run payroll on my phone with ease, when I out of the office sick or on leave. I would give ADP 100 stars if I could. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The one thing I would love to see from ADP in the hopeful near future is job costing that integrates with Quickbooks and other programs alike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My favorite feature on RUN is the ability to chat to answer a question. I don't need to call and wait in a queue. Normally I can chat with someone in a couple minutes but they can do any adjustments needed through the chat without having to verify a bunch of information since I am already logged in. When I have spoken to someone on the phone they have always been polite and informative. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My least favorite part is that I can't link my GL to ADP because we don't have departments. Our wages go into different account numbers by department and ADP does not allow for that. If they could fix that so I could pick a different GL account for each of our departments that would be great and posting my journal entry into our finance software would be so much more streamlined.
