The ease of use of the platform and the ability to reach a live person when I have a question.
I also value the webinars and newletters that keep me up-to-date on federal and state regulatory employment changes.
As the business grows, I'm confident ADP has the tools and services we will need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When you first start the layout can be a little confusing, especially if you don't have experience with payroll platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like best about RUN is that my employees get paid timley, accuratley and without it being rocket science. The features in RUN are great, each section of the business has an area that is clear and user friendly. If you are not sure about the section you can check the help section or search bar with ease. Implementing RUN was a breeze with the OTTO onboarding feature. Setting up employees and adding them to payroll is also simple. I use RUN daily not just for payroll but many HR questions. A dislike I have is that sometimes there are long hold times to get to Customer Support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My employees seem to like the ADP interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'm not thrilled with the timekeeping system. My managers don't receive emails when someone requests time off, which means I have to forward them the emails as the Admin. There doesn't seem to be a great place where my managers can look who else has the day off when approving time off requests.
Also, to add my co-owner to the account, she had to set up a completely different account for access. Which is weird. Why can't I do two things with the same email address and phone number as both an employee and an owner?
Our onboarding process was rushed and as we all know, payroll is one area where everythig has to be completely perfect. Had my expectations been set that it would have taken so long I think I would have felt better about it. We were really coming down to the wire.
The employees I ask questions to don't seem super knowledgable. And I have a lot of questions. That said, they're all wonderfully friendly and polite.
One employee contributes to our 401(k) both for Roth and for pre-tax, and there's no way in the system for her not to get two matches. I don't actually DO two matches, but this means that all of the recordkeeping is incorrect. Surely I can't be the only one with this issue.
All this said, I'm not enthusiastic about doing another switch so I'll stay with ADP for the time being. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One of my favorite things about RUN is that is has the capabilities to support a digital onboarding process. This enabled us to switch to a more streamlined process when bringing new employees on board. This has helped to eliminate room for error and make onboarding more clear and easier to facilitate. I do appreciate that RUN offers ADP Salary Benchmarks within the HR section of the platform. However, the wage breakdowns could be more clear and explained further. As the range, base pay, and amount listed within the graphic do not always seem to line up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Run ADP helps me to rest assured that everything is handled by ADP. They do our tax submissions for us, our child support orders and payments, and any other odd requests we might have. Their customer service team is second to none and I've used four payroll companies in my career. I run the books for two companies and both use RUN. It was so easy to implement and integrate into our company's books. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only issue I sometimes find with RUN is that the same person doesn't seem to see a request through to the end - my service requests might bounce from one rep to the next until someone can resolve it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
ADP Payroll services was an excellent choice to switch over from Quickbooks Payroll. They handle all my payroll taxes and anytime I have a question, they are very imformative and prompt handling it. They have very competitive pricing with a variety of other services.
Running payroll is effortless and seamless with easy navigations. I can even run payroll on my phone with ease, when I out of the office sick or on leave. I would give ADP 100 stars if I could. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The one thing I would love to see from ADP in the hopeful near future is job costing that integrates with Quickbooks and other programs alike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
RUN makes it easy for my company to run payrolls for our clients. It's also great that ADP assumes 100% liability for anything they may do wrong as it gives my clients peace of mind. It's very easy to setup a client in the system. Customer support is there when we need help on an issue. Our firm uses RUN daily to run client payrolls so it's extremely important to us that we partnered with ADP to handle all the back office tasks for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I personally don't have anything I dislike about RUN. My partner isn't fond of the constant changes though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have used the ADP & RUN for 4+ years. It is easier than the quickbooks payroll. Practically able to self teach using the help page making it easy to use. We have atleast a dozen employees and have all of them set up on a bi monthly schedule with very detailed information. If we ever have queston or concern, the customer service team has assisted quickly with answers. We are able to set up 401K and coordinate with our Accounting team access to serve our business. I like that ADP includes preparing and sending tax documents, and easy to print out the reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing really I can say sometimes causes issues is the moblie app spinning and need to restart software on employee time tracking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As the owner of Maid in America, I love the stress relief it has provided me. My former accounting firm had made so many errors reporting my taxes and their payroll reporting was very time consuming. My employess now enjoy having access to their own ADP portal to see the W-2's, deductions, etc. I love that everything is so easily accessable within the Run program. Customer service is great! Integrating our was also quite easy! Just overall the implementation was seamless! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I cannot really think of anything I would say is disliked as we are only in our first month. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that I can login, click a few times, and voila, payroll is finished. I login every couple of weeks, select my options, and I am finished. Usually customer support is fairly helpful, I appreciate that they are located within the US -- as they should be, in order to be most familiar to our unique laws. I am able to use it on my phone when needed, and I appreciate the regular push to update login information, as security is important to us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Two things: I don't like that I have to set up accounts myself for various states, it's too much to keep track of. Every state is different. Finally, ADP changed something in their processing schedule, because our employees used to receive their direct deposits two days early every time -- now it's one day early. Our employees relied on that schedule and it caused a lot of problems. There was no warning from ADP that there would be a change that affected us so drastically.
