What do you like best about Ruler Analytics?

Ruler Analytics has allowed us to make more informed decisions about our marketing strategy. It tracks Form fills, Phone Calls (Online & Offline) and even Web Chat conversations!

We now know which Paid campaigns/ keywords are bringing the most revenue (vs spend) and we can now use data-driven decisions when managing our PPC budget(s). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ruler Analytics?

Only a small point but the setup and integration with Salesforce could be simpler if there was a managed package to install. However, I appreciate not all Ruler Analytics clients will use Salesforce. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Ruler Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?

I wanted to segment our Leads, Opportunities, Sales and Revenue by marketing channel. Tracking calls allowed us to understand the impact of inbound calls, but we used other methods to generate leads. Seeing the detail of every form submission and phone call, from what source, the duration of the call and the pages that led to a conversion is a real eye-opener. I've worked with Ruler for 15 years on and off, and when we have collaborated, it's been incredibly useful to my clients and really does expose the referring sources that are working best and helps to inform the wider digital marketing strategy. the platform fixed our attribution modeling. It does everything in the backend and requires no human intervention. Data as and when we need it. It also integrates really well will Google, Bing & Hubspot etc...

What do you like best about Ruler Analytics?

The lack of complexity. It makes complex call tracking easy to integrate, and the webhooks allow data to be delivered to our centralised reporting system in near-real time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Access to a full API - not just the webhooks - would be useful. Also, ordering static numbers requires a form to be submitted. It'd be better if the platform allowed these to be self-provisioned by the user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Whilst Ruler solves an issue we have, the only downside is total end to end attribution, which isn't readily available as you can only see first and last click of the user journey. I'd love to see the solution evolve to allow us to comprehensively track and group specific journey's and analyse this in more detail, from first point of contact all the way through to enquiry.
