I especially like this tool because of the overall user interface, it offers a great experience. I also like the ability to integrate with other third party platform. Lastly, I like to track conversions easily with just a few clicks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing I can say here, so far so good and I like it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Personally, I have always appreciated how intuitive Rewatch is and how it seamlessly integrates with the project management tools that we have in place. It has a flexible graphical user interface so that my team and I can adapt to it easily. We use it for storing and organizing our video meetings, and since it synchronizes with Slack, sharing such videos and the discussion around them are extremely easy. Also, they have good customer relations that are ever ready to assist when needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the weaknesses that people can experience when using Rewatch is that it has very limited options when it comes to searching for files. On occasion, getting at particular substantive content within the videos can be problematic and sometimes annoying if, for one reason or another, we are in a hurry. This has sometimes caused hiccup in the flow of operations as members take time to search for the material needed. Moreover, the mobile version of Rewatch is not as complete as the PC mode of the program, and this significantly affects the effectiveness of work at a distance. We use rewatch multiple times a week to record and share meetings within our async team. I find the tool invaluable, especially if linking the rewatch recording to a set of meeting notes for later reference. Easy access to recordings enables us to focus more on the meeting than precisely writing down notes in real time--we know we can always come back & review.
The AI-generated summaries of meeting notes are extremely helpful, and tend to get things right.
Meeting transcripts are easily searchable & accurate.
Automation rules for scheduled meeting recordings enable "set it; forget it" meeting recording behavior for new or recurring meetings.
Platform agnostic tool enables us to use and record multiple digital meeting platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Search for old videos has dropped in quality recently making it difficult to find some older meetings. I would love more control over the search parameters.
Setting up the automated calendar sync can be a little fiddly if using google meet, but not very. The Zoom integration is much nicer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our company uses Rewatch as the tool for managing our internal video recordings and it's great.
I like that recordings can be added into Collections which makes finding them later very easy.
For me personally, probably the best feature is Automations that allow me easily set up which meetings should get automatically recorded and how they should be processed afterwards.
I also find the auto-generated recap and "jump to" links very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would appreciate it if I could somehow choose two-window layout when replaying e.g. a Zoom call recodring. I usually use two windows while having a meeting (one showing the audience and the other the content being shared) and being able to watch recordings like this would make it feel much more like being actually in the meeting. As somone who tends to miss things in meetings, Rewatch is a hugely helpful tool in making sure the majority of meetings are recorded and reviewable. The transcription is quite good and helpful in skipping forward to the relevant parts of meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It could be organized better, it's not always clear to me where to go to find a video. I have no idea what the difference between a "series" and a "collection" is (or should be).
Also I don't love how Rewatch joings a meeting as a paritcular person on Google Meets and announces itself. I always think a real person is joining. I don't remember having this problem on Zoom. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like Rewatch for many reasons, mainly for remote work, ease of use, team collaboration and problem solving and keeping up to date in an oderly manner and lastly, I liked the user interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like it to improve some things like the search function and make meetings more accessible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

At Github, we have people working in all timezones, so it's impossible to reasonably ask everyone to attend a specific important meeting. This is where Rewatch comes in. Besides being able to watch it, what's good is the ability to make transcripts easily searchable, being able to identify who's speaking, being able to take the text and do something with it. As a user this is great for getting information, shadowing on sales calls, using it for training purposes, etc. As creators, you also have great features around editing, creating spaces or catalogues for organization for folks to search by topic, by org area, etc. It's an awesome tool I feel like I can't live without now. I don't see a downside, maybe cost? Perhaps the license structure prevents more people from being able to record and load. That's a bummer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Rewatch has definitely improved our async collaboration. It's very user friendly, so we quickly adapted, and we were able to integrate with our tools seamlessly. Search is great, and lets us pinpoint exact video segments effortlessly. The auto-transcription and AI-generated summaries make it easy to catch up and share knowledge. It's been a key tool for us in embracing asynchronous work, allowing our global team to stay in sync despite different time zones. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Transcription and AI-generated notes tend to be hit or miss in terms of accuracy. Editing and trimming videos could be more straightforward, and the desktop app sometimes feels a bit glitchy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
UI is clean, modern and clean.
Its better than embeeding videos on a google site etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Playback speed defaults to 1.25x for all users. Rewatch is imposing a default limitation/experience on how your content should be viewed, with no ability to centrally disable this feature for an organization.
- AI Notes are always generated for every video, you have to sit there and wait for it to process before you can delete them. Again, with no ability to disable this on a per video basis.
- AI chapter markers, again are generated automatically, you have to sit there and wait for it to process, before you can remove them. Again, with no ability to disable this on a per video basis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the AI generated summaries, and being able to react at any time in the video. I like the ability to make collections as well. I like the ability to have a rewatch recorder in google meets as well, which was easy to set up. I use it often at work to upload videos to share with my coworkers, as a google drive alternative. I think it can be a bit hard to find your uploaded videos -- it's not intuitive that your own videos are under "library". Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
