Rent Manager makes it very easy to co-ordinate multiple properties and its automated tasks simplify property management tasks. The customer support is excellent and very quick to respond to any questions or issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Nothing! This is so much better than Yardi. I have struggled with Yardi for 20 years, it doesn't offer even half of the benefits of rent manager. I have used this everyday for a month and I am so familiar with it already! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The reporting features are very robust. There are hundreds of stock reports, with options to adjust and customize reports. I can set up report batches to automatically send on a regular basis-- either to myself, or to other stakeholders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Rent Manaager is very user friendly in my opinion. You can drill down from most any report to get the information you need. The customer support team is some of the absolute best out there! It's generally very easy to get a live person on the phone and 9 times out of 10 your question or concern is handled without a long delay. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I honestly don't know of any downside to using Rent Manager. I'm sure there is one, but I've not come across it. I absolutley LOVE it! I wish all of my property management clients used RM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

In terms of tracking charges, created automated invoices, daily batch reports of AR, rental inventory, maintenance issues, etc - it rocks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Without consistant training, we fail to use all of the features. Attending Tech Tuesdays (on-line free training) and their Thursday's events - helps keep us on top of their features, benefits and integrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have been using Rent manager everyday for 5+ years. At one point we managed nearly 200 properties, and now are down to just a few. RM is one thing I am not willing to give up even though we just use for a few properties. For property managment, there is nothing better. I use QB daily for another business and I greatly prefer RM's features, speed, and user interface to QB. Being able to print checks with MICR numbers using one generic check stock is very helpful. We have several bank accounts so we only have to keep on hand blank checks and the software will print the account numbers on it for the cooresponding account. I use the customer service all the time and they are great. Even with very commplicated accoutning issues, they know there stuff and help get it fixed. There was a learning curve since it is pretty unique in terms of features but they do offer training and an online portal of videos on every subject. The customer support is able to screen shadow you as well which is very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This is not really a downside, but it is incredible robust in terms of features. Sometimes its hard to know how to do something, but I usually figure it out or customer service will walk me through it. The only real occasional negative is the Apple mac intefaces. Its a few extra programs that have to be installed to download to your local machine or to print. These occiasionally loose connection when the OS updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
