Rent Manager has many great features, but one significant advantage over other programs is your ability to customize it to suit your needs. It is undoubtedly a game changer for users who need to make tweaks to fit their needs. It cannot do everything, but it certainly offers some flexibility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As with any software, they all have their pros and cons. My main dislike with Rent Manager is that whenever I've noticed something lacking with the program, it can take a very long time for it to be addressed, if ever. For example, when something seems that it should be so simple or logical to offer, they tell you to submit a feature request online. During the eight years we've been using this software, I have presented many feature requests, most of which were highly regarded by the Rent Manager employees who I shared them with. In my experience, the decision-makers at RM seem only to choose to address and consider a small fraction of these customer requests. No updates or feedback are provided on whether your request will be regarded as or even if it has already been considered. I have found this to be frustrating and somehwat insincere. To be clear, when a reasonable technical issue arises, they will do their best to resolve it within a few days.
