It's awful, the customer service is awful. They will lie to you about upgrades, and launch new features that aren't fully designed or usable. They will nickel and dime you for everything, including thousands for upgrades and intergrations that they will then turn around and sell to thier other clients. I think the best thing about Rent Manager is Team Purple and how quick they are in responding. Also recently, they rolled out the Prospect Dashboard that has really been a game changer. They have alot of integrations which is helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Rent Manager is by far one of the worse CRM I have used. RM12 and RMExpress does not have the same functionality. There is always a workaround needed. Always a glitch. The user interface is better in express than in 12 but Rent Manager really needs to look at other PMS like Entrata and see what they can take from them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My favorite thing about Rent Manager is that it is very intuitive. It has one main help bar called Command Launch and you can access so many things from this space. Start typing in a word for what you want to do, and it will help get you where you need to go. Additionally, we have found the contacts we have for Rent Manager have been very responsive. Quick to help us find solutiosn when we couldn't figure it out on our own and very detailed in their training. I felt like I had great accounting solutions for small business needs by the time training was finished. They make it easy to implement. They provide forms that you can fill out with all of your tenants' and vendors' information, and they will put it right in the system for you. For those with actual accoutning background, this probably wouldn't be a big deal, but I found it too easy to charge an invoice to an income GL rather than a debit GL. User error - definitely, but a bit of a learning curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The user defined fields and ability to heavily customize forms/reports/letters/etc make this a really powerful property management software. I've been using it for over 10 years and have been extremely satisfied. I've found it to be VERY reliable and the product support is fantastic. I use several of the integration products as well. I work with Rent Manager as an administrative assistant at a Property Mangement company and it is very user friendly and can handle all the needs of our company. One of the best aspects of the program is all persons in the office can access all the information at the same time so any notes or issues that are created can be viewed across the whole building as to keep everyone on the same page with the comings and goings of all owners and tenants that we deal with.
Another thing that is great is how simple it is to use. Entering a new tenant or owner is so quick and easy and we have all the pertinent information at the click of a button. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like the number of features offered through Rent Manager itself, but also having integration features available make the Rent Manager software top tier for doing the job as a Property Manager. I love the online template library and would love to see even more sample documents available for use through the library. the customer service is top of the line and it is a very user friendly product after you get the hang of things. I am a training specialist at my company and it is super easy to teach newly hired employees how to use this program. There is a lot of the interface that is super intuitive. Also, if there is something that Rent Manager does not have, it is easy to add through their customization options. One thing I know for people coming from other programs is that they were always so scared to make a mistake because it was really hard to fix. But with Rent Manager, that anxiety is gone because you can fix mistakes with ease. Even training new employees goes smoothly since it is understandable.
Their customer support is top as well. The reps all go out of their way to understand your question, then they solve your issue. I am never left with , we're so sorry the program doesn't accomodate that, Never!

Very easy to navigate and many options to personalize to my preferences. The customer service is always 100%. The best of everything, from leasing and accounting, to so much more all in one program. I am in Rent Manager at least 7 out of my 8 hour work day and the ease of being able to do most of it from one place allows me to boost production.
