What do you like best about RedEye?

The team at Redeye clearly all very knowledgeable and really know their stuff and have been helpful in building out new campaigns and using data to drive changes. The design templates are all professionally put together and the team work collaboratively with us on content etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RedEye?

The platform takes a bit of getting used to and is not massively intuitive and this is compounded by the training not being that great. In terms of building the actual emails it would be good to have drag and drop design as per other systems. Response times can be a bit slow and projects can be slow to implement but the quality of input and the skill of the team makes up for this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is RedEye solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are in the process of putting together a series of automated campaigns which we have wanted to do for a long time but haven't had the resource / capability to do it. What do you like best about RedEye?

The platform is simple to navigate, segments and schedules can be easily set up and reported on to see performance of individual mailers, both in the campaigns and within intelligence suite. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about RedEye?

What do you like best about RedEye?

Multichannel campaign / data management tool all in one place makes it easy to proudce impactful campaigns in close to real time. I enjoy the fact that the team are able to produce marketing campaigns on the fly as opposed to waiting for an analyst to create a selection for them, thus slowing the process down. What do you dislike about RedEye?

Recommendations to others considering RedEye:

The team at RedEye are more than willing to demonstrate the power of the platform, and did so to us through a lenghtly proof of concept. After competing against some big industry players, RedEye came out on top in our RFP Matrix.

It offers us the best solution to manage our data and marketing campaigns effectively, saving time and money in the process.

The platform gives the user the opportunity to upskill in their role by learning new skills such as segementation, personalisation and more. We now have multiple journey flows that consists of email, direct mail, and social media marketing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We merged two platforms in to one, this makes it easier for us to have close to real time data. We are able to empower users to create marketing segments and do not rely heavily on data analysts to do this, thus making it faster for us to leverge our marketing campaigns. What do you like best about RedEye?

The Redeye platform is great for catering to the way you want to work, whether you use the built-in email designer or build your emails externally, whether you want to control every detail of your scheduling or allow the predictive and automated systems to lead your comms. The drag and drop interface for campaign setup is easy to use and features many options in order to create effective customer journeys. The built-in rendering preview is amazing! Reporting on results is extremely extensive, giving both numerical and visual representations of campaign performance. The team are friendly and always available for support and advice, whatever the issue! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RedEye?

I find that the interface as a whole can be a bit clunky and unintuitive, with multiple paths to the same functions, from opening campaigns to viewing results. Some menu options seem completely redundant, like the 'email' option under campaigns (I'm not sure what this does or how this differs to the 'campaign list') or the template manager which doesn't seem to be useful for anything. Other options seem broken or in need of an overhaul, like the image manager which only allows one image to be uploaded at a time and then won't let you preview it or view the image URL to copy and paste into external HTML docs. Managing dynamic content can be tricky without applying it to an email first, and managing dynamic content rules can be difficult, especially when working in teams of multiple users. I also feel like the Redeye team have the capability to do so much more than the frontend of the platform will allow, but the only way to uncover these services is to ask or wait to be told about them (although the team does tend to be very proactive in communicating with clients!) Recommendations to others considering RedEye:

The platform really does allow you to work in a way that suits you best. It allows easy access to basic functions for beginners but give you the option to access advanced functions and everything in between! There aren't a lot of bells and whistles initially (there are some that you can request and the Redeye team are always willing to help) but the doors are really open for you to get creative with your campaigns! What problems is RedEye solving and how is that benefiting you?

The segmentation tool within the platform makes it really easy for us to reach out to the right customers without the need for database exports and excel spreadsheets (as we were often relying on before!) As an email designer I find it easy to create segments myself and it has freed up a lot of time within the wider team. The drag and drop interfaces within the segment builder and campaign manager make campaign setup really easy. We have more automation options than ever before, without relying on multiple platforms for different types of email send. Reporting and analysing has also been made much quicker and easier with options and filters which again negate the need for data exports and complicated spreadsheets. We really value your feedback on what could be improved. We're always improving the platform through a regular release cycle. We are in the start of a new UI and UX rollout which will address many of the legacy items you've identified. What do you like best about RedEye?

The segmentation software works effectively enough to allow very detailed parameters to be targeted, and the ability to export directly to Google Ads / Optimize / Socials is also a bonus for easy retargeting within campaigns. Account support is also good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RedEye?

Exporting segments could be easier with a 'custom template' that pre-selects certain popular parameters to export, and more integrated data channels that are compatible with each other to allow cross-examination of segmented data within campaigns. The UI could be improved on the email builder, folder system & especially on the dynamic content blocks. Some amends & improvements to the marketing automation package are quite costly and were not documented explicitly in initial contract talks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Having one consolidated view of our customer data allows us to retain & upsell to our existing database via typical workflows such as abandoned baskets, but also allows us to combine online & offline sales history to create a unified targeting strategy for regional & national business. What do you like best about RedEye?

Redeye has enabled us to move our email strategy on to the next level.

The system is rock solid and designed by UX professionals to provide an inuitive and user friendly interface.

Template creation is made easy using drag and drop to provide emails that are target device independent - something that was unattainable under our last blue chip company marketing system.

What do you dislike about RedEye?

There are a few niggles around click allocation but the team at Redeye are uniquely responsive and are helping us run diagnostics to remdedy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
