NetBase is extremely user-friendly. It is very easy to find accurate, non-biased insights into a product from across the Internet. It is a useful aggregator that pulls in all forms of social media as reference points. It is very easy to exclude negative terms, and accurately gain a better understanding of a product. I loved the ability to see sentiment more accurately (Other products I have used didn't fully understand sentiment in slang/modern language). I also appreciated the visualization aspect. There is an immense amount of data that Netbase can pull in, and it can be daunting to look at (and make sense of). Netbase has different graph options, word clouds, word cloud fonts, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
NetBase can be extremely helpful in learning more about consumers and uncovering perceptions about a product, but only if you set up your dashboard perfectly. Creators have to take a considerable amount in building the dashboard. And for a beginner user, it can be slightly tricky to figure out certain things. The Q&A/Manual is helpful (and better than others), but it could still be improved. Perhaps there could be more buttons within the dashboard, so that users won't have to refer outside of the browser so often. Overall, the UEX for the creator could be improved. It would also be nice to see pop culture events that might have affected the brand... that would give the data more context at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I think my favorite thing about the platform is its ease of use. I was not familiar with NetBase at all before my first use, and I found it really easy to maneauver. The filters are self-explanatory and easy to set. The tabs are presented in logical order. The results are displayed and formatted in a ways that are transferrable and easily understood by almost anyone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, I didn't have any gripes with the software. The only thing that may be useful for projects with different goals than mine at the time is the ability to view trends over a longer span of time. Other than that, I was really happy with the offerings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ease of use, the quick insights that can be gleaned in a crunch, the "brand passion index". The different types of word clouds like terms, behaviors, authors, brands are easy to understand and great for presentations. It doesn't pick up as much chatter as our company would like. We find it difficult to quantify how much our clients are being talked about because it's only a percentage of the total internet chatter. The NLP is a good idea in theory but it's not perfect, many phrases are coded incorrectly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Netbase has a great ability to build search queries easily. It's a step by step process that allows you to enter primary key words, included and excluded keywords and many more filters and then you can fine tune your query through their tool called Focus Wizard. I do not like that I am not able to manually change the sentiment on posts. Sometimes Netbase does not assign a sentiment accurately, so it would be nice to change it on a per post basis to get a more accurate sentiment reading. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Netbase is very easy to work with and is very customizable allowing you to dig into the details of brand sentiment. The only significant issue is speed. Running queries takes longer than I would like. Overall, a great product with great customer service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Innovation is whay I like Netbase, their product team is outstanding and willing to do the hard work to evolve the platform. When I look at the next 6 mo of innovation that will be delivered I am highly optimistic they will retain BOB status. Areas I am excited about are the amped up architecture, alerts, UI and Integrated Engagement.
Additionally , Netbase is in it for the long term with a solid leadeship team and the right focus.

Like many vendors that consistently innovate, there is a balance between architecture and end user improvements. I would say any vendor in this space is going to leave advanced users craving accelerated innovtion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I would put Netbase somewhere between Radian6 and Brandwatch. The tool has some limitations such as query setup being very similar to Radian6, but the interactive dashboard is completely customizable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The query setup is too limited and resembles Radian6. Also, the inability to export more than 1,000 mentions at a time is inconvenient for larger brands that need to manipulate the data outside of the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
