What I like best about ProLiant is the team they have compiled. Their implementation and customer service team are both very helpful, and willing to jump in and assist at a moment's notice. There were some snags with the implementation, but even when those issues arose we felt supported by the customer service team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish some of the employee interfaces were more customizable from an administrator end, specifically when adding new employees or trying to see the quick view of employee information.
We use ReadyTime/punching in and out, and all of the system updates throw off our employees and timecards as they are unable to clock in and out when the system is updating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am a multi daily user of Proliant and having the accessibility of having everything located there, our ATS, benefits and time off viewer is ideal for our growing company - just have the one log in. We continue to have more streamlined processes and the resources that Proliant offers make it easy to navigate. You have a dedicated account specialist but often times you have deal with people outside of that person for assistance. They seem to just be a central contact for assistance. I've run into several issues with reports recently and instead of telling me why there is an error, they just send me the report from their end. Its many issues frankly. It has all the features and more that you could need in an HRIS system. I also love especially how quick and helpful the staff is at resolving any issues or even just walking you through any questions you may have. They are an incredibly intelligent, skilled, professional yet friendly team that makes them feel like an extension of your company team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I dislike about ProLiant is that I don't have a local account manager who could come to visit on-site if needed to hand deliver a missed check or whatever may be and create that personal connection further. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Proliant is an excellent product and service for several reasons. First, they have excellent training and support. Our Account Manager, Belinda, always answers questions in a timely fashion and is very helpful. That said, Proliant also offers accounting support for payroll. For instance, they detected there was city tax that should be withheld that was not being withheld by our previous payroll company and they were able to address that issue, including getting us an account with that city. This was an extra fee, but it was small and well worth it. Their payroll site is easy to use and also they make it easy to transition from another provider. Our old provider, who is one of the larger payroll providers out there, continually made things a challenge, including failing to pay our withholding taxes on time and causing us fees. Once we switched, we never have had any issues again. This has now been about a year using Proliant. I am not planning on shopping this service in the near future. Proliant is going to be a little more expensive than your giant well-known payroll providers, at least for a small business. However, as having left one of those large payroll providers (where I perpetually had issues), I am gladly paying the nominally greater price and would not have it any other way.
