I’ve been really impressed with Plivo because it seems reliable and has a global reach. I’ve used your APIs to integrate voice and SMS features into my app, and they’re quite easy to work with. The call quality is better than your competitors I must say. Also, I’ve never had any issues with scalability. While I’ve generally been satisfied with Plivo, I’ve encountered a few hiccups. I’ve found the customization options for call routing to be somewhat limited, and it took me a while to get used to the API. For the most part, my relationship with Plivo has been good. They have always been courteous, and do follow up to try and make sure everything is good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Efficiency. There are times when there's a support issue, and the time it takes is far too long. I rent a lot of phone numbers, and by way of my clients, a lot of SMS are sent. My clients are real people, and simply sending texts to people they already know and have a personal relationship with. Sometimes, some of these numbers will get flagged as spam due to the carriers filters. At times, my clients will ask for a ticket to be submitted to get the issue resolved, as there is exactly 0% of the messages being sent that are spam. There have been times that it has taken over a week to get resolved. This time is critical for my business since my clients are not able to communicate with the family or friends during the period of waiting. My clients do not know what is going on, they simply start getting frustrated with us thinking we are the issue, and we are taking too long. So that becomes a situation where we usually have to comp some extra service time fo rour clients, which of course in the bigger picture costs my company money, and occasinally the loss of clients.
