What do you like best about Plivo?

Plivo offers essentially the same service at half the price as their competitors (at the time of my switch). Good logs and transparency for SMS and customer support has been reachable for me when diagnosing reasons for some SMS messages not going through. Good SDK for implementation (I use Python but am just using the REST API for my implementation, it's been great). I don't recall any downtime for the features I use in the six years that I have been a customer of Plivo which is pretty fantastic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Plivo?

At first I didn't think the success rates were as good as my setup on a competitor, HOWEVER after some tweaks on my account with support (they even helped me choose a good area code to send my texts), and helping my SMS messages stay compliant, success rates have become close to 100%. Recommendations to others considering Plivo:

Very good SMS provider, great SDK, easy to implement and manage. The admin panel has received several updates while I have been a customer and is getting easier to use. What do you like best about Plivo?

I tend to be a customer who only needs to meet when there is an issue. Plivo is graciously respectful of this preference. But, more to the point, Plivo is very responsive when I do need help. I've work with our current account representative for a few years now and he is well-education on our use case, our compliance practices, and our commitment to maintaining the viability of text messaging as a communication channel for our member-base outreach. What do you dislike about Plivo?

The UI could use some work. I find it un-intuitive. Also, search filtering on site. If I search for a set of calls and click into an individual result, I don't want to have to re-run the search when I return to the results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Plivo previously offered a direct line to customer service, which was removed a few years ago. Nowadays, the only way to reach support is through tickets, which can be frustrating when urgent issues arise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We rely on Plivo to call and text end users who use our service daily. Without it, a vast network of livery companies—including over 1,000 taxis and limousines—would face major disruptions, creating significant challenges for the companies that serve Canada’s most important airport. What do you like best about Plivo?

The customer service is by far the best quality of plivo/what makes them stand out. Specifically our 10DLC verification process was a MILLION times better than working with Twilio and we are forever grateful to Plivo for that. Other than that, the platform has been easy for our developers to use and straight forward. All of our use cases have been easily covered at a reasonable price. What do you dislike about Plivo?

We have used them for a while. When we first started using them it was out of necessity since we were seeing horrible delivery rates with Twilio out of nowhere and horrible customer service from Twilio (7 week response time on emails). Plivo had far better customer service/much smoother onboarding experience but some of the features felt a bit clunky in the portal/too basic. What do you like best about Plivo?

Like the understandable api, like the customer service that responds instantly to my inquiries. But the most I like the prices and the login conversion percentage the best!

What do you like best about Plivo?

I’ve been really impressed with Plivo because it seems reliable and has a global reach. I’ve used your APIs to integrate voice and SMS features into my app, and they’re quite easy to work with. The call quality is better than your competitors I must say. Also, I’ve never had any issues with scalability. While I’ve generally been satisfied with Plivo, I’ve encountered a few hiccups. I’ve found the customization options for call routing to be somewhat limited, and it took me a while to get used to the API.
