We went from using a manual performance review process - 1 on 1 meetings with emails back and forth. So performyard worked well for what we needed. Performance Reviews, PayReviews, Goal Setting and updates annually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It was a simple looking interface and was intuitive but only once you got to the screen you wanted. It took slot of clicks to where you needed to be.
Found text boxes were not easily formatted in terms of bullet points etc.

Most helpful parts about Performyard is that employees and managers both have a place to track performance. There is quite a bit of automation for notifications, reminders, and being able to configure the different types of reviews and assessments in there. Upsides include the HRIS integration, SSO, and being able to see org chart in there as well. The rating system for managers is also helpful for pulling data driven reports down the line. The BEST thing about PerformYard is the Customer Success team. I have Brianna, and she is hands down the best. She is patient, listens well, has great suggestions and ideas, is calm in helping navigate uncertainty, and is great at troubleshooting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dont have much negative to say about PerformYard except I do think it is not necessarily intuitive that the forms and the templates are separate. It is not a big deal, but that could make it a little easier. I also think that PerformYard should offer "Templates" for new customers, so that they could actually just edit the templates that exist. The way PerformYard defines templates does not actually mean a template that is already built out. That is an area for improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
