PerformYard has so many capabilities and it's super user friendly! The implementation and the customer service has been above and beyond what we expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the downsides of PerformYard is that all users (employees) need to have an email to get a login for the system. We have a lot of blue collar manufacturing workers that don't even have an email address. We also don't have a lot of emplyoees that have work emails, so everyone has to use their personal email for this. It would be nice if they could have a login using a phone number or something else.
It would also be nice if reviews could automatically launch based on hire date instead of manually adding employees to a group and then launching the review each month. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

While the platform has many strengths, there are some areas for improvement. I wish organizations could customize dashboards even more to fit their specific needs and workflows. There could also be a more robust way to view and edit forms, making it easier to manage performance data effectively. Additionally, certain terms like 'Author' and other pre-set verbiage are not applicable to our organization, which can lead to confusion. I love how there is a major goal hub incorporated into reviews. Goals/KPIs are huge at our company, we use this to drive internal promotions, track skill development, and it ensures the individual employee is staying aligned with department and company wide objectives. This is a wonderfully flexible tool that allows for easy creation and tracking of all performance management goals. The ability to increment goals by small percentages and leave comments is fantastic. The trail of information is in itself useful for managers and employees to see how they are or aren't achieving their goals. The cascade of signoffs makes it easy to obtain all required approvals. The downside of PerformYard is having to DO these HR things in the first place. They aren't fun, they're time consuming, it's the task that employees tend to spend the least amount of time on. Using PerformYard makes it a much less onerous set of tasks whether you're managing a team or just keeping track of your own progress against personal and corporate goals. Finally, a digital platform that makes evaluations/reviews available in one easy-to-access location. Perform Yard allows for streamlined conversations about evaluations with the administration. One thing I think would be helpful, would be to make it easier to update submitted documents. For example, I wanted to update my notes on my personal performance review after submission but was unable to without getting outside permission. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our company has been using PerformYard for employee reviews, and it has truly transformed our performance management process. We received excellent support from our dedicated Customer Success Manager, Liz Tiriris, who guided us through the process. The set up was easy and simple to use; Liz was able to help us decide how we wanted to use the tool and the features that would help us customise PerformYard to suit our specific needs. We had regular calls to discuss all the different functions setting up the reviews and goals for our company. The only thing that would improve PerformYard would be locking down fields once they have been completed prior to sending them to another member of staff to author.

Their staff is SUPER helpful when it comes to learning the platform. They literally do everything they can to help with the learning curve. They're also fantastic at changing, switching, adding, and pivoting in any way when we want something changed on the platform. What I like best about PerformYard is how easy it is to utilize. I can write reviews/ answer questions and even track goals. It also has a feature that I find to be quite usful where it lets everyone, from managers to peers, share their input and feedback, which really boosts transparency and trust.
