"Clear Dashboard Widgets and Easy Paystub Access"
3/5
What do you like best about Paycor?

I like the UI of the main dashboard with the different widgets because the information that I usually am looking for (ex. clock in/out, schedule) is available at first glance. I also like that Paystub is accessible from the top bar and that the widget tells you how many days until your next pay date, since that is usually difficult to keep track of. What do you dislike about Paycor?

I wish there was an easy way to see the management hierarchy or your other team members. For example, UI-wise, it could be displayed as a branched tree diagram with titles of every worker. As of right now, I cannot find who is part of my team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Accurate Payroll with Glitches"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Paycor?

I use Paycor for payroll processing and to record my time, which helps ensure I have an accurate paycheck. What I like most about Paycor is the ability to control my schedule and the feature allowing me to type in my hours down to the minute. This really helps because my job pays me down to the exact minute, so I just enjoy having that level of accuracy. I also enjoy the overall experience of Paycor. The initial setup was smooth with no interruptions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paycor?

It does have a lot of glitches. Sometimes when I'm trying to put in my schedule for the week, it won't show all available schedules, and it won't record the schedules. It's slower at recording the selected schedule. I also have a lot of issues when I'm able to type in how much time I have for the week; it does have a problem recording what I typed in. If I come back the next day, sometimes it won't be there, and I'll have to recalculate. I really don't enjoy having to recalculate after I've already saved my time down to the minute. "Easy online/App access with helpful Dashboards and Payroll-Benefits Integration"
4/5
What do you like best about Paycor?

Easy access online and through app; dashboard views for overall perspective; integration of benefits portal with payroll function Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paycor?

Experience is slightly inconsistent and not always intuitive--I feel as if I don't always see the same results, particularly when I'm trying to account for time off. Some pages show future requests; others do not.

Wish that I received an email with my pay stub, making it easier to keep an eye on those details. I recently found an error in my time off and sick time, and finding where and how things went off the rails felt like a forensic hunt. It feels like all the information should be easy to locate in Paycor, but it was challenging.

Entering information into the timecard function seems unnecessarily stretched on the computer; it involves lots of scrolling left to right and up and down.

App and online versions are both functional, but I wish they were more similar. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Modern, Intuitive All-in-One HCM with Strong Integrations and Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Paycor?

Paycor offers modern and intuitive interface that is generally easy for HRs, managers and peers to navigate. API capabilities and integration options help organizations connect Paycor with their broader technology ecosystem. The platform is generally reliable and performs well for mid-sized organizations managing payroll, workforce management, and talent processes. Paycor delivers strong value for organizations seeking an all-in-one HCM solution with payroll, HR, recruiting, and analytics capabilities. Paycor provides onboarding assistance, compliance guidance, and customer support through multiple channels. While the AI features are valuable, they are more focused on HR intelligence and workforce optimization than advanced generative AI capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paycor?

While the platform is feature-rich, some HR and reporting functions have a learning curve, particularly for smaller organizations or first-time administrators Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Access to Paystubs and PTO Reports That Help Catch Issues Fast"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Paycor?

Having easy access to paystub information and miscellaneous information like PTO accrual. I was just submitting PTO request the other day and saw the "Run PTO Report" option. After viewing the report I saw that my company had the incorrect PTO accrual rate set to my account. The report allowed me to notify HR/ my manager of the problem to get it resolved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paycor?

There is a simple dashboard that highlights all the normal functions, but some of the better features, like the previously mentioned PTO accrual report, are somewhat hidden if you don't know where to look. I also had issues with my account setup when I was first hired to this company, but I am unsure if that is due to the restructuring of the company, resulting in different Paycor account logins that need to be managed, or if there was something behind the scenes causing errors. But I was unable to do the basic onboarding ahead of time as the company requested. I had to sit with HR and do it on my first day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Connectivity but Interface Needs Clarity"
4/5
What do you like best about Paycor?

I use Paycor to track my time worked, stay updated with news from work, and see my schedule. Paycor makes it easy for me to submit my timesheet and keep track of my hours at work. I like the connection it gives us, as I am able to see the awards given to all employees in the company, which makes us as a whole feel closer together. Through the Engage Chat, I am able to see important news as well as see awards and recognition given. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paycor?

Sometimes when putting in my hours, there are several different codes on my timesheet that I do not quite understand. It gets confusing because there are three lines where I can add time, and sometimes the line on top is greyed out, so I can't use it and have to put my time on the second line. It's been challenging to make everyone learn a new system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Employee Milestone Feature Shines, But Clunky Interface"
3/5
What do you like best about Paycor?

I do like the employee milestone feature in Paycor. I love being able to get to know people at the company, so seeing when they have a birthday or are celebrating years at the company is always really fun. I think this kind of thing builds employee engagement and team building, especially in a large organization like the one I work at, which has 17 schools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paycor?

I do think the site is a bit clunky. The app is definitely clunky. The way everything is stacked, even on the desktop and laptop version, makes it hard to configure things the way I want. Everything's in boxes, and while you can move them around, I can never get it configured the way I want. Something more interactive, with a panel that lights up or calls your attention to different areas, would be helpful because it's hard to figure out where my benefits are since they're hidden in places you wouldn't think to look. "Simplified Payroll Management, With a Few Navigation Hiccups"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Paycor?

I like that I don't have to bother HR to get stuff I need. I appreciate being able to see my paychecks all in one spot and not having to file them in a paper cabinet anymore. It's convenient that I no longer have to receive paper paystubs, and I can get all my tax information from one website. Setting up Paycor was simple, just creating a username and password. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paycor?

Sometimes it can be hard to find benefits. I'm not sure if that is a Paycor issue or my HR not putting the information in correctly. I try to find information on my 401k plan, matching, and contributions, but cannot find anything on what my company offers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great 1-on-1s and time-off tools, but objectives and web/app consistency need work"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Paycor?

What I like best about Paycor is the 1-on-1s feature. The customizable meeting templates make it easy to structure weekly check-ins with my manager, document key discussion points, and refer back to previous conversations. I especially appreciate being able to view my responses from the prior week in a drop-down beneath each question, which helps me track progress and maintain continuity from one meeting to the next.

The ability to review and export previous notes as a PDF is also extremely helpful when preparing for quarterly and annual performance reviews. Rather than trying to reconstruct accomplishments, feedback, and development topics from memory, I can reference a clear record of my discussions throughout the year.

I’m also a big fan of the Time Off feature in the Paycor mobile app. It makes requesting time off quick, easy, and convenient, especially when I’m away from my computer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paycor?

One area I find less intuitive is the process for creating quarterly objectives within the Performance tracking feature. The workflow can feel somewhat clunky and more complicated than necessary, which makes it harder to quickly create, update, and manage objectives.

I also find the experience inconsistent between the Paycor website and mobile app. For example, requesting time off through the app is quick and straightforward, but the same feature can be difficult to locate on the website. At the same time, the website includes several resources and capabilities that are not available in the app.

A more consistent experience across both platforms—including similar navigation, functionality, and access to key features—would make Paycor easier and more convenient to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly and Efficient with Minor Approval Hiccups"
5/5
What do you like best about Paycor?

I like how user-friendly Paycor is and I also enjoy using the mobile app. It's simple and allows me to quickly clock in and out, especially when I'm traveling for client visits. If I miss a punch, I can easily request a change without jumping through hoops, which I really appreciate. Paycor makes it easy to track my time off and pay stubs, which simplifies my work routine. The initial setup was fairly easy, something that most people could handle regardless of their computer skills. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paycor?

I believe Paycor could have some issues with approving the timesheets. Sometimes, I will approve it, and then my supervisor is unable to see it on her end, or I'm unable to approve it. And I have to approve it multiple times. I'm not sure if that's a user error, but I think it would be beneficial to take a look into it just so people are not having to approve timesheets multiple times.
