Ease of managing schedules, vacation, personal time and time off reports.

Reports stop working, navigation to review upcoming time off can be difficult and constant updates.  Only training is through tutorials.

Reporting.  Training classes would be nice too.

I find Paycor easy to use for entering time off requests for vacation or sick days, making it straightforward to manage my time. Once accustomed to it, entering my daily time becomes seamless.

**What do you like best about Paycor?**

I believe the most beneficial feature of PayCor is that I can clock in from anywhere. I especially appreciate being able to view my pay stubs in a PDF format. Additionally, I can manage my sick and vacation time through the platform. We can also send "Announcements" from the main page! It is very easy to use. Customer support has always been helpful. I literally use this every day.

**What do you dislike about Paycor?**

I do not like that I have saved my device and still have to provide a code to login.

**What problems is Paycor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paycor allows me to clock in without being physically in the office. I work in the field, and that can be challenging at times if I could only punch in from the office.

I like being able to set up my home page with *only* what I need.

I've heard the app is unreliable, so I've never used it, but seems like it'd be more coinvent, I dunno. Since I also technically work two 0.5 fte positions, it's hard for me to switch between my roles and contact hours.

paycor is tracking the hours that I work and letting me get paid.

**What do you like best about Paycor?**

The product is great. The ATS and benefits products cannot be beat and have saved us so much time and have added an immeasurable amount of efficiency. We had an unfortunate implementation experience, with our "dedicated" Paycor implementation team turning over 3 complete times. Codes were set up incorrectly, after over a year, we are still trying to get things fixed. The system is easy to use for our employees as we use it for almost everything, from onboarding to offboarding and everything in between except learning management. Customer Support can be a nightmare, as it takes a long time to get issues resolved and tickets get closed out randomly without proper resolve.

**What do you dislike about Paycor?**

The only two dislikes of Paycor are customer support and implementation.

**What problems is Paycor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to have to enter employee information into 6 different systems. Paycor is allowing employees to enter their own information and then it automatically goes to those other systems, saving time and headache.

It's a one stop shop for all things HR related which is wonderful since I can take care of most of my needs as an employee myself. Just this year I took care of tax info that needed updating, requested time off, and handled certificates that needed to be submitted all from one site.

Due to how many things Paycor can handle, sometimes it's difficult to find the correct spot to find what I need on the first try.

Paycor helps me know what time I have left in my PTO and when its been approved all without having to stress or bother someone else.

I like how user-friendly the interface is. It's easy to clock in, view pay stubs, and request time off without needing to ask for help. Everything is pretty centralized, which makes managing tasks quicker and less stressful.

easy to use their payroll function. Phone support has been helpful for payroll.

Our experience started fine however, they have made some VERY BIG mistakes with the 1099's and W-2s. Many of them have errors on them and since we dont have access to ADP anymore it is a struggle to get them fixed. We have not really received any help with this thus far as we are waiting for them to provide guidance. I am not sure we will be keeping them moving forward as this is directing effort from our staff when we are going through another transition within our company. Additionally, they never reached out to us for their Indeed HR feature which was the reason we decided to transfer to them. Very disapointed and looking to go back to ADP

I like being able to see how much PTO and Holiday time I have and how much I have when I try to take time off.  I also like how my timecard is laid out.  It is easy to see and use.

I appreciated that when I changed positions in the Diocese, there were no transitional difficulties within the system. I find that requesting time off is fairly simple within the system, as is seeing my remaining balances.

**What do you dislike about Paycor?**

I don't feel it is always very intuitive to find what I would like. I feel that I need to click too many menus or make sure I find the menu from already being on the "right screen." I was told I can customize my home screen, but I don't have time to fiddle with that. There seem to be features of Paycor that my employer doesn't use, but they are often what greet me on my homepage. Perhaps working with employers to customize the home screens according to the features they actually plan on using with their employees might make the user experience less clunky.

Paycor helps me request time off easily and get my paystubs fairly easily. I was also able to change my tax withholdings without too much trouble. I don't really use it for much else.

I have used many different HRIS in the past, I feel Paycor has been the best one yet.  I like the fact that all the different components are seamlessly linked and makes all the different responsibilities of HR so efficient.

My main challenge has been with the online support. I really wish that online support covered all the features, as it would make things much easier for me.

I appreciate the option to access part of my paycheck early when I need some extra cash. Creating punches and requesting PTO is straightforward, and I also find it simple to view my previous paystubs and time cards.

While every website or app has its challenges, I haven't found anything I dislike about Paycor.

I don't have any business issues that require Paycor's solutions.

The interface of Paycor online and in the app is so easy and visually pleasing. I don't have a hard time finding anything and the entire design and layout if so functional and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Paycor?**

I wish that clocking in with the Paycor system would tell me if the punch created was "in" or "out". I have often had to do a double punch because I was unsure if I had clocked in or out/missed a punch.

I like that I can see all of my time off requests, time punches, hourly wages and paystubs all in one place. Prior to that all 4 of these things were all in separate apps and spaces!

Honestly, can't think of anything good about the product.

**What do you dislike about Paycor?**

Customer Service is non-existent, even a minor issue takes weeks to resolve. It's like a black hole of someone will eventually call you back. 
Also, a lot of functionality just doesn't work. 

Timekeeping, which is an add-on, doesn't work and we had to abandon it. Messaging within their ATS, also doesn't work and we had to abandon the ATS. Benefits, also doesn't work, had to manually add 401k contributions every pay period. 

Words don't really capture how breathtakingly bad this product and company are.

It really isn't solving any problems, we move over in January and are already looking for a replacement. Just an absolute mess.

I like the messaging capabilities. The fact that we can leave little notes of encouragement or birthday messages for anyone on our team or in our company is pretty neat.

Once we got used to how it all worked, it is easier to clock in on than our last software. I, personally, run into fewer issues than our last software in terms of logging in and making requests.

**What do you dislike about Paycor?**

It can be difficult to navigate. Finding the documents or tabs you need can be troublesome if you don't use it every day. Obviously, clocking in and out is easy, but if you only have to access tax stuff once or twice a year, it can be confusing how to get there, etc.

**What problems is Paycor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me keep track of my paid time off and how many hours I have worked. I can also look at my benefits and keep track of my tax info which is pretty important.

Paycor is a very easy pay system to use. Whether reviewing/approving time cards or looking up pay history, it's very user friendly and accessible anywhere. It's also very easy to teach new employees how to use Paycor.

I like the ease of use for most day-to-day needs.  I also appreciate the Paycor TAM team.  I get so much out of each interaction with them.  Morgan, John, Amanda, etc. have always provided great advice or helped me get more out of the system, especially when visiting them at the Paycor Connect+ event.  Good people!

**What do you dislike about Paycor?**

The level of knowledge with basic support.  Too often we hear “see of clearing the cache/cookies solves your problem.  I’m not as confident as I’d like with their recommendations, especially when O can’t confirm the issues are solved before hanging up the phone. I would like to have the ability to do screen shares with them.

I like that is a platform that you can easily find your W2, paystubs, & request time off.

**What do you dislike about Paycor?**

My biggest gripe with Paycor is it isn't always easy to find what you are looking for. A better/more detailed menu would be helpful. Also may 1-2 times a week when I try to clock in or out, it won't let me. The "punch" button is grayed out.

As I said before, Paycor seems like a great platform to compress a lot of data is one spot. I just wish the time clock function would work a little better. When you have to report a missed punch it seems like extra work.

Glitches. So many glitches. Customer service number gives you basic troubleshooting which doesn’t help, some issues take weeks to solve with no known reason why they happen.

**What do you like best about Paycor?**

I appreciate the ease of access of HR documents and other important information. The interface is appealing and easy to understand which is also nice. I believe using Paycor makes for an understandable system to do time cards and quick reference. I think it compares well with other punch card systems.

**What do you dislike about Paycor?**

I don't like that Paycor takes a longer time to load sometimes which, to be fair, I'm not sure how much of that is Paycor. Some dashboards can be harder to find things on. I struggled to find where to clock in on my first time using the app. I will say I've used the app and browser version and the browser was better for me. I also found confusion in how clocking in and out for breaks worked in my first week with it.

Clocking in and keeping track of important documents.

**What do you like best about Paycor?**

I really like that Paycor is customizable down to the employee level and how they can set up their app homescreen. Paycor has been consistently improving their customer service experience and now, whenever I contact them for support, I feel confident that I will receive the help I am looking for instead of having to figure it out on my own. The employees at my company report that it is very user friendly and appreciate having full visibility to their paystubs, time off, tax documents, etc.

**What do you dislike about Paycor?**

While I appreciate that Paycor is very customizable, I'd prefer to have a 'standard' or default set up and then tweak from there. We went from an in house payroll system to Paycor in Oct 2023 and to say it was overwhelming is an understatement. It has taken us a long time to get everything set up the way we need and there are still things that we are working on. There have been a lot of workarounds made in order to get us where we are today, which isn't ideal, but we are able to process payroll, which is the most important thing! The implementation process for Payroll was great and we loved our implementation specialist - the fact that we had zero major issues for our first payroll (we run payroll weekly) was incredible! The process for the HR side was not so great, but thankfully we were able to connect with some amazing Paycor employees who have been working with our HR Director to make things right.

**What problems is Paycor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were previously using an in house payroll system in addition to a separate software for our time/attendance... and a lot of excel spreadsheets. Our HR system consisted of folders in filing cabinets. Moving to Paycor meant that all of that is now housed in one system and our visibility/access to the information increased exponentially. My job processing payroll is extremely efficient now and I have more time to focus on making sure our payroll processes are accurate and we are following DOL/IRS laws. Before, our employees had little to no visibility in regards to their payroll information, PTO balance, time/attendance info unless it was on their paystub or they came to me. I had to make/print statements for them monthly. Now, all this info is available to them via Paycor and it's been amazing!

I wish there was a way to edit things after the fact instead of cancelling them and having to re-do them. It's not a huge issue, just more of an annoyance (or I very well might not be doing something right.)

One small dislike: sometimes the load time can be a little slow, but nothing too major.

When we started with paycor they had a feature called impersonate - this feature allowed you to view a team member's view of paycor.  So you were able to see what they saw.  At some point they took this feature away and it hasn't come back.  Also customer service -  the first response I receive to resolve a problem is clear your cookies.

I like how I can find different parts of my account so easily. Very user-friendly interface!
I use it all of the time to check my PTO balance and love how upon logging in I am prompted to speak with an assistant if needed. This was not the first HR platform that my company has used, and we were able to integrate it easily for everyone's needs.

I have not noticed any downsides of Paycor.

It's solving my HR questions, almost any question I have about my benefits, pay or PTO are all available there!

Paycor makes it easy to request time off, send messages to your manager, view your pay stubs, and see when you will be paid next. The information is accurate and reliable, and I use the site multiple times a week.

If you do not know exactly what you are looking for, the search bar can be difficult to use and the side bar is a little cluttered, making it hard to navigate.

It is straightforward and direct. I don't have trouble finding my documents when I need them, requesting time off, or filling out my timesheet. The app is rarely glitchy, and .

**What do you dislike about Paycor?**

The UI/UX is a little bit ugly (feels like an outdated interface designed by Windows rather than Apple's chic/contemporary look lol) but that's obviously not a big deal. Sometimes it logs me out for no reason and it's kind of annoying to log back in (i.e. two-factor authentication). Doesn't happen with other apps or accounts, so that can bug me a little bit.

I'm not sure to be honest, I don't keep track of new features, as I want it to be as efficient/smooth as possible, and I can't remember much about it that has changed in the 3.5 years that I have used it.
