  ### 1. Decent Features, Needs More Innovation

**What do you like best about Paycor?**

I think in general, just the value you get for the dollar with Paycor is a good economical solution that provides a fairly robust offering. We value some of their app and tracking features because there's some ease of use there. Additionally, their general payroll and HR modules provide some benefit.

**What do you dislike about Paycor?**

It's challenging. It was really challenging. I think we got okay support, but it was actually a very challenging setup to really figure out how to use. I think in general, they're just not a super robust solution and they're not very innovative. And that really comes into play with some of their support when there's issue management and just takes a very long time. It feels like a lower end product kinda you get what you pay for. And that's, to start me, I think past that, we would just hope to see a more rich feature set evolving with where they're it seems like they've stagnated some.

**What problems is Paycor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paycor helps us with payroll, learning management, HR needs, benefits, forms, and approvals. It's a good system for the price, but not very innovative.

  ### 2. User-Friendly Payroll, But Support Has Declined

**What do you like best about Paycor?**

For the most part, Paycor is user friendly. Any issues we may have had, Paycor did solve. One thing I really like is that it's up to the staff to put all of their information in, so each staff member is inputting their own information. If they say there's an error or anything, it's the user themselves, and it's not solely on me and my team to input the information. That leaves less room for error than having a middle person do it. It's pretty much step by step, making sure they put the information in, and it seems to work out perfectly fine. I haven't had any staff complain about issues with Paycor. The setup was a little challenging, but I have an awesome team member who was great with assisting and getting us onboarded fully onto Paycor. She was a really, really big help, and with me being the HR manager, she had more time to move me along with the system.

**What do you dislike about Paycor?**

Ever since Paychex took over, it's just been harder to get in contact and get things situated. When I call, the call drops or I get hung up on. The last time, I got hung up on three times, and that was really annoying. I haven't tried to call again since then. I wish there was more human interaction. I'd rather talk to a live person who can walk me through how to get to what I need instead of having me follow these steps on my own. The reports are also the one thing we have issue with. Certain reports I need are a little hard to navigate, and creating the report I actually need is tricky. I wish they were more user friendly or that someone could assist me with them. The initial setup was a little challenging too. I also hate that they didn't do a conference this year.

**What problems is Paycor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Paycor for our payroll system. For the most part it's user friendly. I like that the staff input their own information, so it's not solely on me and my team, and it leaves less room for error. Any issues we had, Paycor did solve.

**What do you like best about Paycor?**

I like Paycor for its ease of use; it's really simple to navigate. I also appreciate how quickly they fix issues when they arise. The scheduling aspect is really important to us, and the LMS is a significant benefit too. The initial setup was very easy because they did all of the work, which I found particularly helpful. We're very likely to recommend Paycor and actually recommend it all the time.

**What do you dislike about Paycor?**

Sometimes issues occur and are fixed quickly when reported but there isn't always feedback as to what caused the issue. Like, if I did something to cause the issue or if it was a glitch.

I use Paycor for HRIS, finding it user-friendly with important scheduling and LMS features. It's easy to navigate, and they resolve issues quickly.

**What do you like best about Paycor?**

There is flexibility in creating reports, which was helpful when looking for historical data. 

**What do you dislike about Paycor?**

Customer service was a concern. There wasn't a dedicated person or team, so when we had questions or issues, we would call, be on hold sometimes for over an hour, and the person wouldn't know the history because there were no notes left by the previous agent. It was frustrating to retell the issue over and over. Sometimes, after a long hold, the call would disconnect. Most importantly, the agents did not know how to resolve our concerns. Training was definitely an issue, in my opinion.

**What problems is Paycor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As the HR Director, my administrator access wasn't what it should be. We did a chat with a agent and it was resolved that day.

**What do you like best about Paycor?**

I find Paycor to be a great resource for payroll and recruiting. I love using Paycor Recruit because it allows us to run background checks for future employees and helps weed out those who are not a good fit for our company. The ability to reduce turnover rates and keep track of everything for employees and HR is really helpful. I love the Knowledge Center, and overall, my experience with Paycor and its resources has been great. The initial setup was very easy and understandable. Paycor has broadened our scope of capabilities beyond just payroll with ADP, allowing us to use it for recruiting too. Simply put, Paycor is GREAT, and I have nothing but great things to say about it.

**What do you dislike about Paycor?**

I love the Knowledge Center however some more interactive activities and modules could be useful for trial and errors before actually completing tasks on our own.

**What problems is Paycor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paycor reduces turnover rates, helps track everything for employees and HR, runs background checks, and enhances recruiting. Switching from ADP broadened our capabilities beyond payroll.

**What do you like best about Paycor?**

Paycor performance is ok, but needs work.  The integrations are ok with Indeed but needs more work, onboarding is good support.

**What do you dislike about Paycor?**

I dont like the customer support, the support team is horrible, there is zer support for pretty much everything.  They have an integration with Indeed, which is poor at the best.  This needs to be better and allow for better candidates or the back end indeed option to help drive more candidates to the sites.  Further, the ROI is lacking to what a company pays.  

There is no AI component.

  ### 7. Steep Learning Curve with Frustrating Support

**What do you like best about Paycor?**

I like that I know the Paycor software well. It specifically meets our company's needs, and while it has taken several years to feel confident and comfortable with it because it's such a huge monster to learn, that familiarity is valuable. We genuinely like the core product.

**What do you dislike about Paycor?**

Customer service is definitely an issue—it's a struggle to get a direct phone number to reach a Paycor employee, even when I'm working directly with someone assigned to me. The sales representative changes so often that there's no opportunity to build an ongoing relationship, meaning I have to start over with a new rep multiple times a year. The EDI feeds are another headache. They're quite messy and take forever to resolve, so much so that it makes us wary of switching insurance carriers, knowing it'll be months before everything's sorted out. Also, the initial setup wasn't easy. It was really complex and lengthy, and though there was training, the trainers used technical terms without adjusting their language to fit the audience. They're so used to using their own terminology that it's often a struggle to understand their points.

**What problems is Paycor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Many of our "cases" or issues with Paycor center around EDI feeds. Also the third-party vendors who deal with Paycor on our behalf are incredibly frustrated with Paycor's poor customer service and lack of communication.

**What do you like best about Paycor?**

It’s simple to request time off, pull pay stubs and tax details, and complete 1:1 and performance management reviews.

**What do you dislike about Paycor?**

My biggest frustration is that, even though PayCor integrates with Google Calendar to send 1:1 calendar invites, those invites can’t include direct links to Teams/Meet/Zoom, etc. On top of that, you also can’t move the meeting times in Google Calendar; instead, you have to manually log in to PayCor and adjust the meeting times there.

**What problems is Paycor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One stop shop for requesting time off, monitoring time off, checking time off requests from your reports, pulling pay stubs and tax reports, and providing performance reports.

**What do you like best about Paycor?**

It was easy to use and simple to navigate. All of our payment information is easy to access, and it’s clear which days off have been taken, which have been requested, and which are still available. Overall, it’s a good tool for all employees, and it’s convenient to have payroll information all in one app with an easy-to-use layout.

**What do you dislike about Paycor?**

I honestly didn’t see any downside; it was good to use overall. The only thing I’d suggest is having customer service that’s a bit more accessible, just in case it’s ever needed.

**What problems is Paycor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s been good to manage and use. It’s easy to request days off in advance, and I can track our paychecks as well as the time off I have available for future use. Overall, it’s very user-friendly.

**What do you like best about Paycor?**

I like that Paycor is easy to use, and I mostly like their payroll processing software. I've found that Paycor's payroll processing is a lot easier compared to ADP. Also, the initial setup of Paycor was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Paycor?**

I feel like the learning platform and the recruiting platform need work. They're not really up to date and look a little antiquated. Also, the benefits section isn't very user-friendly, and I prefer the old timesheets over the new ones.

**What problems is Paycor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Paycor for recruiting, payroll, and learning development. The payroll processing is easy to use and easier than ADP's, which is why I prefer it.
