If you understand APIs and EDI, you will find Orderful very easy to use. Implementation is measured in hours, not days. Connecting it to anything that can talk to an API is a no-brainer, and the customer support is first-rate. I've had issues resolved sometimes within minutes. I use the U/I every day to check the health of my EDI connections, whether they are working, and why they are not. But to appreciate what it can do, you have to use some other features, like tables for information you don't have in your data, and the fabulous rules engine. EDIFACT is still a work in progress. They advertised EDIFACT, and we recently discovered that one of the status settings for the CONTRL document has not yet been addressed in the UI, leaving you to believe that the document you sent, is overdue, when in fact, it was received and responded to. I like that you have easy access to all the things that are usually locked down in an EDI platform. Communication channels, trading partner relationships, and the document specifications and guidelines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The rules editor is a powerful tool but I'd like some more examples of how to use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Setting up new trading partners has never been easier. Before Orderful, we did a lot of mapping/setup which was very time consuming. With Orderful, we upload the spec, and the mapping is done. What is also nice, is the ability to add rules to the map very fast and easy.

Support is also outstanding. Orderful is very quick to respond and resolve issues.

Would like to see a little more documentation and examples with the rules editor. However, if you are stuck trying to create a rule in the mapping, the support is always willing to help in a timely matter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like orderful for the following reasons:

1. Orderful rules uses low code approach in the EDI rules which makes it easier for business owners to customize the EDI rules per customer/partner and not have to hire technical developer or EDI tecnical consultant to do the job.

2. Because we put in the EDI rules, this means that it is transparent in the Orderful portal and see how it transform from standard EDI input to the custom EDI output. In a traditional EDI setup the EDI partner custom rules are defined somewhere in a layer of code that are not visible to the business. With orderful rules, most of the custom rules are visible and easy to debug if needed.

3. Reduced time for EDI onboarding because it is easy to setup.

1. The "Business number" filter is at the bottom of the transation filters in the orderful portal that I have to drag my mouse before I can search specific transaction. This should be on top because it is a key (invoice #, PO#, shipment #, etc) to the transaction and usually most users have this information on hand.

2. The summary notification is kind of useless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The fact that I don't have to deal in an antiquated technology (EDI) but can work via API and still fulfill my customer needs in EDI. Also opened the ability for supplier/3PL EDI which asn't native to our current system. working with the Orderful Team we didn't even need to know or understand EDI at all Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Could use some more custom reporting, would be nice to be able to generate reports in a format better suited for our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
