The table management controls are the best I've found. When you set the room up correctly, it's practically foolproof and has saved me from overbooking any particular time. It's also very easy to use and does not take long to train my staff. Getting set up is pretty easy with guidance from their team, and customer service is almost always available for questions. Restauarnt promotion- Open Table seems to invest into its SEO where other restaurants on Tock and/or Resy do not show up "first." Appreciate the ability to easily navigate reviews, cover trends and reports. Great ability to track historical data and I believe is simple for our guest to use. When I need assistance the customer support team is always available and as we open up new restaurants or hotels we are easily able to implement the software into each area. Maybe competing brands continuously finding ways to underprice OT. I think the pricing model could be looked at, but again, I appreciate the SEO of Open Table and for that reason I will not switch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've always been a fan of Opentable's customer service. They are quick and available. Very different than other brands. Their business portion is great and now offers so many things their competitors were exclusively offering - like payments, tickets, and texts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I feel like much of the "business" attributes were not pitched to us clearly so they get left unnoticed so then we aren't able to maximize the value. I'd love customer service to really showcase the most valuable assets instead of the bare minimum to secure a sale - which I also understand they need to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We use OpenTable to manage digital reservations in our restaurant, and overall, we are very satisfied. The guest network that OpenTable offers is truly outstanding and consistently brings us new visitors. In addition, the many available tools provided by the system are likely the best selection currently available on the market. However, there are some areas that could be improved. For instance, we receive noticeably fewer reviews from guests who made their reservation via OpenTable compared to our previous system. This is unfortunate, as reviews are an important part of our feedback process. Furthermore, the backend is somewhat confusing at times and requires more time to get used to than we would like. OpenTable gives us important insight into critical data we need to succesfully run our restaurant. New features like messaging and boost campaigns help us manage our reservations with ease, contact customers with a few quick clicks, and helps us get in front of diners during slower periods. Only downside is that the mobile app (phone) doesn't have acess to messagin or availability planning, and the tablet mobile app doesn't have full availability planning functions (must be done on a computer). Otherwise a pretty flawless system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We currently use OpenTable at our restaurant as it's the best online reservation service and invaluable to our business. Its ease of use, flexibility and efficiency is top notch. OpenTable for Restaurants marketing capabilities have good reach, but can be very expensive. I also dislike the process in which you have to update availiabity in the shift settings. I know that the operations teams in all our venues love to use the system for its ease of use and that it delivers exactly what they need. In my role, what I appreciate most is the service I get from James Lane, the Senior Restaurant Services Manager for Open Table. There is a huge amount of data in Open Table and James always helps me get the most relevant info from this data and so quickly too.
