Notion is the most modular software for product and project management. You can basically create any structure you want according to the use: work, studies, personal life... everything. As a daily Notion user, I find the AI capabilities incredibly helpful in streamlining my workflow. The AI writing assistant helps me draft content more quickly, refine my writing, and generate creative ideas when I'm stuck. Notion has been incredibly helpful in my daily work. Using Notion AI has significantly increased my productivity. I frequently use Notion AI to enhance my emails, expand or summarize documentation, and review texts (such as this one, which I'm currently reviewing). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I would like to have a better export-to-pdf feature. To be fair, I must mention that it have that feature but is clearly not enough strong and consistent because is not dealing fine with formats and compositions. With Notion, we don't need much time to set up parameters and it differs a bit from other competitors that use templates for each type of project. In Notion we can start with a workspace to which we add components or functionalities based on our needs.

Basically, we incorporate elements such as an area to record Sprints, segments that host content and commonly used documents, instructions so that the work team can carry out specific activities, in addition to the customization of fields based on what we need to track tasks. While I like many of the features like the retractable left side menu and Kanban board, I may find the per-user customization a bit limited for my taste.

I also think the 'my profile' options could use more features to create more usability, but that being said, I think Notion is great and teams prefer it for its simplicity and ease of adoption. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I love about Notion is that it’s so flexible part of being able to build out personalized workflows that are working for me right now. I just love to make task boards and connect them to docs or notes. The database tools are great to structure complex projects in a structured manner. One way I’ve also integrated Slack is for sending real time updates to keep everything streamlined. The problem with Notion is that it sometimes doesn't perform well for a large team. It has a big array of features which is impressive but does slow things down, especially on boarding or system setup. In addition, I have found that it takes longer than it should to search for parts in a cluttered workspace when putting work together. While these limits aren't deal breakers, in fact, they make it harder to keep up with the pace we would have liked on those tight deadlines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

AI tools

- Notion AI is also useful for completing tedious tasks. For example, if I am working on submitting a grant application in an online portal, and it doesn't use rich-text formatting, I may need to use different cases in order to refer to film titles (as opposed to italics). With AI, i can tell it something like "change all italicized text to uppercase text instead." The standard ctrl+F/replace all tool in Google docs or Word does not apply to formatting, so having AI help with this has made certain processes more efficient.

- Having AI embedded into the app/platform also makes it easier/faster to work on things, as opposed to going to an AI platform on a separate browser. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- Notion's desktop app seems to slow my computer down, so now I only use the browser version

- For some reason, the AI tool doesn't work properly when you are in the new-page pop-up window -- it only works once you are in the main page after the new page was created

- AI doesn't yet process large amounts of information -- maybe have clearer parameters so I know what it is capable of and what it isn't capable of

- For some reason, there are certain table templates that have embedded icons in the records that I cannot remove. One of Notion's strong points is its rich customizability, so this should be factored into the templates as well -- users should be able to modify most components of a pre-created template if they want to

- Consider adding subgrouping levels to the tables

Creating a database in the document requires just a few keystrokes. Linking another page seamlessly is also easy. Embedding web content can be done simply by pasting the URL. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
