We use NewRelic to monitor performance of many production websites. This tool allows us to quickly discover and implement optimization opportunities. We like NewRelic for its ability to monitor both backend and frontend areas of a website in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do not like the BE performance trace presentation. It does not allow for easy navigation, i.e. it would be nice to show search results in a seprate window, along with corresponding timings. Also sometimes it shows "unattributed" time, which is confusing, would be nice to know what caused it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
New Relic is easy and intuitive to use. Agents can be installed in the blink of an eye; if there is no ready-to-use agent, you can use the API to submit your data. The platform is also easy to use and has many valuable visualizations on its systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Although the platform is easy to use, it has a lot of user experience issues in some features, mainly alerts, data query and SLI/SLO. I know that it is due to the platform's evolution, but I think they can improve the user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As an IT specialist using New Relic every day, I've come to deeply appreciate the tool's all-in-one observability feature. It's like having a bird's-eye view of my entire tech stack. Whether it's the front end, back end, or infrastructure, I can monitor, debug, and improve every aspect with ease. This gives me a level of control that's hard to match. It's like having a powerful microscope to inspect every aspect of the software we run. This helps me troubleshoot and optimize our systems for maximum efficiency, which is a game-changer in my daily work.
One feature I particularly enjoy is the integration support. With over 600 integrations available, New Relic smoothly meshes with almost any tool we use in our tech stack. This interoperability saves me time and reduces friction in my workflow, as I can handle many tasks from within New Relic itself, without having to switch between different tools. On the flip side, while it's hard to find much to criticize about New Relic, there's one thing that can be a bit of a challenge. With such an extensive range of features, it can sometimes be overwhelming, especially for new users or those not deeply familiar with all aspects of system monitoring. I would love to see more streamlined onboarding and user-friendly guides to help navigate the tool more easily.
Also, a minor gripe I have is with the visualization aspect. While the data provided is comprehensive, I feel that the visualization tools could be more intuitive and aesthetically pleasing. A more engaging visual representation of data could make it easier to interpret complex information at a glance and share insights with non-technical team members. One of the things I like best about New Relic is its comprehensive and user-friendly observability platform. With New Relic, I gain deep insights into the performance and health of my applications and infrastructure. The platform provides real-time monitoring, intelligent alerts, and powerful analytics, allowing me to proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact my customers. Additionally, New Relic offers a wide range of integrations and customizable dashboards, enabling me to tailor the monitoring experience to my specific needs. I guess these days the most challenging side of NR is the complexity of the platform - extensive features and capabilities can be overwhelming for users who are new to monitoring and observability. Setting up and configuring the platform may require a learning curve, and some users may find it challenging to fully utilize all the available features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
K2 has a really nice UI/UX with makes it easy to understand and visualize everthing that may be happening in realtime, gives great intelligence against vulnarabilities and anything malicious that may be going on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Has some limitations, would like to see more customization available, also a bit difficult to setup and implement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
