The interface of New Relic is quite complicated. To find certain possiblities & parts within new relic can be quite challenging. Still some work is needed in the "user friendliness" part. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The level of detail on specific areas was extremely helpful in diagnosing the core issues. I can track down to page and dom level or view the exact query which is causing an error. The specificity allows the dev team to focus on the solving the issue rather than finding the issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The amount of data is daunting at first glance so I recommend the walkthrough as well as familiarizing yourself with the documentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best features of New Relic is the ease of setup and usage. Once you add an agent directory to your server, for the JVM you just add one line to call the newrelic agent.
You can easily drill down through Java calls and stack traces.
The tools has a very clean interface and is easy to use for basic tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You have to install something on every server and sometimes it slows down performance. It also does not always autorecognize calls to things like SQS and data stores. Some other products do a better job of this
Sometimes the SaaS page is not as fast as you would like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
