They have great features. The platform is robust in most places and the developers were comfortable using it. The sales team was responsive and great to work with on making a plan that works for us Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Post-sales has been a disaster:
I could be writing a lot more detail but I don't want to waste another minute on this pathetically managed company
Tech support was mediocre at best. We were unable to get in touch with anyone competent by phone. Email communication had a slower turnaround time and difficult to have a smooth back and forth. Most of the time they sent us templated emails pointed to help articles. This caused the integration process between our systems and New Relic for our development team to be a painful and cumbersome one
Over the course of 6 months, we have been trying to do an account split between 2 divisions. There was a constant misunderstanding by email and a refusal to get on the phone. Responses would come in after days, not hours. Our account rep was switched and we were tossed around. Then we were told there was a ticket submitted to get the actual changes made. After a painful 3 months, there were 2 accounts created and we updated the payment information between both. After another month or so we realized they were just split into a parent account and sub-account. There was no change in control (2 separate users) and even worse they auto-renewed(without permission) a large contract on the wrong division wasting thousands of dollars from that division but also charging the other account as a pay as you go which is at a much higher rate than we were contracted in for last year (forget the hours I blew to get this far). Over the course of the next 2 months, we tried to work with our account rep to rectify these 2 glaring issues. At this point, I was prepared to bend over backward and take credit instead of a refund for the error in billing/auto-renewal. It took 2 weeks to get a response as it needed to be sent to their "dispute committee". The response blew me away "Unfortunately, we cannot cancel, refund, or credit you. Your commitment has already been paid in full and recognized. The pushback that the finance team gave was that you are already 6 months into your contract."
Bottom line: New Relic auto-renewed our contract to the wrong account without permission and said because it happened too long ago they will not even consider any sort of remediation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Nothing it is a good product for Application Monitoring and Performance, you will integrate a lot of services with it like if you are using AWS then you will integrate all the Services( EC2 in-depth Monitoring and ElastiCache as well ) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Search logs with the abiliity to see how often an issue is occurring
-Ability to search across multiple accounts
-Dashboard and tab option within dashboards
-Saved searches and drop down to navigate my previous searches

-Unable to see the raw log and surrounding events
-Unable to regex more than 5 values
-Unable to see the Total number of returned events when faceting
-Regex parsing issues with large events

Very simple to implement and integrate into a wide range of technical platforms. Also captures a tremendous amount of information without doing a lot of custom logging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Can be hard to find specific details within the documentation. A wealth of knowledge there, but not the easiest to sift through when looking to resolve or get information on simpler tasks or topics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

New Relic is straightforward to configure and provides my team and me with all the information we need in one central location. I like the ability to export/share dashboards externally, and it has saved a lot of time when communicating with various stakeholders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is a slight learning curve as there is so much you can do with the software. It can feel a little intimidating at first. However, NewRelic does a fantastic job providing free educational resources and webinars so you can use the software to its full capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My favorite part of New Relic is the diversity of information it provides. I can start with a Synthetics check which gives me a high level 'good/bad' and then delve deeper into the details with the rest of hte product suite. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I personally think that New Relic's interface has gotten increasingly harder to navigate as new product functionality has come online. Certain things that I relied on heavily like the Infra hosts view has become harder to find and is seemingly trending toward deprecation to be replaced but much less valuable modern view that directly steps on the initial messaging for why the old view was designed in the way it was. New Relic One makes it easy to check for poor-performing webpages and API calls, so my team knows where to look next to improve our users' experience. Permanate links to NRQL queiries make it easy to share information with others and get back to the data later. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Figuring out how to do some queries in NRQL can be difficult. Although, I just learned about the ability to use Regex in NRQL, which significantly simplifies some of the queries that I have been using. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Where do I start? The dependency map? The multiple protocol support? The ease of use? The flexibility to develop your own widgets? The "one ring to rule them all" concept where I can see all my platforms (DB, Microservices, Infrastructure, logs and more) in one place? Gee.. what do I like best... :-) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I honestly don't dislike anything. your support is second to none, your customer obsession is a thing to learn from, your evolution is super fast. in short - you're good :-) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
New Relic can get telemetry data almost from any type of source, then data could be structured or parsed all data. The mobile app and synthetics experience is awesome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Does have much on DB monitoring area. The logs still missed complex search techniques like join or sub searches. then webservice logs we get using API are tough to parse. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Options to trace and monitoring our app works fine, and its really complete to get some insight on what is going on the application. New features and graphics are constant been implemented and helping us Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In the begging its a bit hard to understand how to configure your project, and get consistent insight on it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
