Really easy tool to use. Easy to work crossfunctionally and to visualise e.g. projects. There are many templates free to use and to start from and then adapt to your projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As it is easy to invite people and work cross functionally, it is difficult to keep track of if someone changes something, e.g. by mistake. You can lock objects, but it is easy to forget to lock all objects that is good to lock. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Has multiple collaborative tools that allow for conferencing, brainstorming, and documentation in numerous boards and applets, with interactive elements allowing for dynamic yet productive meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes the interface can be a bit clunky, with issues such as participants accidentally moving board items (though admins are likely able to restrict this, it should be limited by default to prevent such cases), Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's super easy (and intuitive) to use and there is a lot of different features that make MURAL helpful for planning, brainstorming, team building, and more, especially for remote teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish there were more templates and icons available - they library is great right now, but would love to have even more options! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the ease of use and many of the different features which make it an ideal collaborative tool for remote work. I love the ability to add content such as icons and images without having to leave the Mural. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not much to say in terms of negative feedback. I would just encourage them to continue adding more features (especially for adding content through the app), but nothing comes to mind at the moment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Mural is user-friendly and easy to navigate. I appreciate the outline feature as it helps keep my team organized during facilitation. Additionally, the icons add an enjoyable touch to the experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I find the toolbar that appears to be obstructive while I am viewing the content on the board. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The most helpful thing about Mural for me has been it's simplicity. It doesn't pressure you into using a certain template or using it in a certain way. You can simply have a vision, and make it a reality just by using basic features on the infinite canvas. That's enough to spark creativity and focus on solving problems, whilst bringing people together (in person or virtually). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's hard for me to say since it's more of a want rather than a need, but I would like to see more integrations with other BI (business intelligence) tools such as Power BI. For example, you could have a Power BI report in a workspace, and then pin visuals from the report to the Mural canvas (somehow). The MURAL could be configured to refresh on a set interval so that it reflects the same data as in the Power BI report. Currently, Power BI is limited in terms of how creatively you can display visuals. You are limited by canvas size, shapes, style etc. However, leveraging Mural's environment, I could really see some beautiful reporting coming to life in a more engaging way, especially as users are able to annotate and engage with the data /visuals in a more meaningful way.
Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the ability to work in a free-from manner and create my own structure rather than be constrained by formatting. I like that there are many different types of shapes and features, and I can still paste in images and links. I love the copy-paste feature from Excel that pastes each cell in as stickies. I appreciate how intuitive the tool is, making it easy for new users to engage quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish I could have variation in text formatting within sticky notes. Honestly, I have very few complaints. I love Mural, couldn't do my work without it, and I recommend it to anyone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ability to duplicate boards. A lot of the boards I use are very similar, and I tend to use about 3 different 'templates' - the ease with which I can duplicate boards saves me countless hours setting up new boards from scratch Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The desktop App for Mac has been down for sometime, and I much prefer it to the web version. The biggest issue I have with the web version is when I'm using my track pad to move around the board it often ends up triggering the 'back' in my browser and sending me to my previous URL. Set of functionalities is OK. Decent automation - automatic linking, templates, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike the sticky notes layout picking and text sizes system. You cannot alternate among sticker layouts by simply dragging. Predefined text sizes are also not very good.
I also dislike the overall look, feels a bit cheap and archaic to me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
