Being able to search articles for content has changed the way I do my job. It's a total game-changer to see who has written about a specific topic in our region, and it's allowed me and my team to craft specific, targeted pitches that reach journalists in a more effective and meaningful way. It also helps that Muck Rack is constantly updating its database. Being able to pitch from Muck Rack and have the replies come to my inbox is an excellent feature. 1) The formatting for writing the pitches needs improvement. Minimal formatting options and copy + paste is never easy.
2) At my company, we assign pitches to employees from a media list. There is no way to designate a reporter for someone so we have to download the media list to excel, then highlight the names. We would love it if this was seemlessly integrated!
3) Sending follow ups is a bit clunky, it would be great if you would reply from within the pitch list, vs. selecting who you want to pitch and then going through the original pitch development process again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I don't love how you can't edit the original copy of a pitch once you've personalized it. I don't love that I can't delete test pitches that I sent out to myself so I can clear out the list of non-real pitches. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
MuckRack has become an additional team member to my small media relations team! The staff is so helpful and fast to respond, they really get how fast things move when working with media.
