The short bios on reporters, the email and contact phone numbers when available Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish we had access to more TV producers and bookers. I also would like to be able to get access to editorial calendars via MuckRack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the data base and advanced search features. I also really like that Muck Rack can track backlinks for unbranded mentions and highlight them in coverage reports without having to manually dig for the URLs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes I have difficulty searching for a contact by name in the search bar, so I find it quicker to type out the reporter's name in a Google search query with "Muck Rack" after their name, as it surfaces the right profile immediately, at least 98% of the time. I use Muckrack mostly for media lists. It makes finding reporters with specific niches or in particular locations easy and streamlined. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not much doesn't work well on the platform. Sometimes I feel like I'm taken to a lot of different tabs just to get to the people in one publication. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Muckrack's easy to use platform/interface and the pitching capabilities within the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The price is a little steep for my small business as I am a sole proprietor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Constantly updated, great customer service, in depth information, easy to use Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't know of any. Love the service! I give feedback in focus groups for new options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have been very impressed with the accuracy and relevance of Muck Rack's journalist database, as well as its depth. They seem to have everyone you could imagine needing to reach. The search interface works well. The email system is effective and it appears to have a good reputation, so messages to reporters get through. The platform enables a certain degree of project management, with the ability to set up lists and track progress of various pitches, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have some constructive feedback on the functionality, but it's relatively limited, e.g., not being able to change the name of a list or pitch after it's been created. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Of all the features that Muck Rack has, the ability to customize pitches per journalist is a huge differentiator. No one does it better. It does all the standard things well, but this sets them apart from the others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Monitoring of coverage is lacking many outlets that I use. This will change over time but feels a bit premature. I find myself having to use a different tool for monitoring. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I work primarily in media relations, so the fact that you can build a media list, send pitches and do follows up all in one place is fantastic. I also love the metrics and analytics behind media pitching and monitoring. And best of all, I love how quickly the help bot responds to inquiries. It's nice to have that on-demand help for when you don't understand something or need a profile to be updated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't LOVE the fact that you have to take the extra step to add newsdesks to media lists but it's easy enough to where it doesn't bother me too much. Other than that, MuckRack has more than exceeded my expectations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the ease of finding the niche journalist beats that our industry needs to pitch, plus the ease of reporting on my media hits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've had media contact emails land with someone who isn't a journalist and responded negatively @ us on social media, but I guess people sometimes suck. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The platform is comprehensive of everything I need from journalists, pubs, making lists, setting up coverage alerts, searching for clients within specific journalists, and so much more that is indexed incredibly well. I could not do my job without it. Also, when someone is missing, their team is lightning fast and magical about finding things I can't just by googling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My gripes are trivial at best. When refining searches to specific publications, regions, or media lists, sometimes text that have input halfway will randomly disappear. Also, I wish Alerts could have different notification structures for each person who is subscribed to a particular set of keywords (ie I want to receive them for one set every 2 hours instead of every 10 minutes like my team has it set to).
