What do you like best about Motive?

We've been using Motive for our company, and it has been a game-changer. What do you dislike about Motive?

When i click on a unit location to open in Google maps, I only want to know where it is and it opens with a route from my current location to the unit location. Also, when i copy the coordinates and put them in Google maps, regularly gives me an incorrect location. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Motive helps us streamline our fleet management by providing real-time GPS tracking, ELD compliance, and automated reporting. It improves our operational efficiency, ensures compliance with regulations, and enhances driver safety with dash cams and monitoring features. What do you like best about Motive?

The representatives assigned to your company fleet are dedicated and hard-working to ensure everything runs smoothly, whether it's the dashboard or purchasing products. Quick, friendly replies!

What do you dislike about Motive?

Billing is a problematic situation. They have no area to enter a swift code to make billing easier for Canadian companies who want the payment taken from their bank account.

Billing does not send out invoices in time and so you have to ask for the invoice to be sent out. In turn, causes payment delays. If they do send the invoice out, they send it with "past due" invoices they are inquiring about even though payments are sent a long time and just haven't been properly received in their system.

Representative turn over gives whiplash. It seems someone new is assigned every couple months (might be a bit sarcastic) but it sure seems that way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Motive is on the ball with solving ELD malfunctions quickly and efficiently. Getting things solved makes it easier for drivers to continue their daily logging tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Motive?

As a company driver, I am at the mercy of the company for my logging needs. Previous to motive, we worked with another company, and the customer service was horrible. Motive has given us absolutely fantastic, premier customer service! Thankful for low weight times, and professional and kind Customer service technicians. I highly recommend this system to Drivers. What do you dislike about Motive?

I would like to see motives streamline the pre-trip and post trip system, so that the buttons are closer together and in order that they should be used. Currently, I select equipment, then I select pre-trip/post trip in the middle of the screen, Then have to go to the top right side of the screen to save it, then the bottom part of the screen to verify my signature. What do you like best about Motive?

Using Motive to connect our drivers to the vehicles they are in is very simple and efficient. Having a system to differentiate our employees with vehicles, as well as a note system to keep track of defects/notes for the vehicles is very helpful in keeping track of our data. What do you dislike about Motive?

It is fairly common for our drivers to not be able to connect to the vehicles they are in, as well as becoming disconnected for no apparent reason. A minor complaint is the duty log system, it will also occasionally tell drivers that they are in shift violation after they go off duty, yet often I think this may be due to user error. Motive is useful at helping our company keep track of the duty hours, as well as keeping track of our drivers with the vehicles they are in. What do you like best about Motive?

The easily accessible tabs that give in depth information regarding each of your drivers. You can identify and monitor as a whole or manage each as an individual unit. The automated help feature makes it great when having questions or concerns. They will have your back every step of the way! This is something i use every single day. When a novice driver needs to complete an action from their end such as sign logs, it is a bit difficult to explain how to navigate throughout the system. But no worries, if there are any questions the team will always be there to help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Tracking and helping drivers accounted for. However, it's' much more than that. Drivers are being held accountable for their runs and miles. What do you like best about Motive?

I like that it easy to monitor the fleet in order to make quick decisions based on changes throughout the day. As long as the devices are connected appropriately, this makes calling audibles much easier to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We frequently get feedback that the ELDs lose connection with mobile devices. This causes frustration and confusion when it comes to log compliance. I find that load times navigating to different pages within Motive to be difficult to handle when trying to review several events in a small time frame. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

By allowing the fleet an easy way to log their drives and to monitor their driving is huge. We are big into safety and safe driving and having dual cameras as well as all the speed monitoring makes this a much easier task to accomplish. What do you like best about Motive?

The upsides about GoMotive is that when a driver is stuck due to mechanical, wheels, or yard issues, we are able to get drivers coordinates and send someone their way. I would also like to include the safety performance tab, with the videos and list of events our company is able to live watch or see when drivers are making simple mistakes that can prevent a catastrophe. What do you dislike about Motive?

The downside of this software is that, GoMotive does not help much in searching for mechanics or other assistance needed. Additionally, I would like to include that it would be very helpful if GoMotive can update street upgrades, construction areas and new businesses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is the best software for trucking fleet managers, straightforward to understand if you are a beginner, it has a huge variety of options which help me to keep an eye on all company's trucks, help our drivers with their Log Book problems. What do you like best about Motive?

This software is so user friendly and simple to use. There is so much information that the monitors can pull, and the camera's are such high quality! We have over 40 trackers and cameras installed and as we grow, we will add more to our system. From tracking trucking times, to traffic notification, too incident investigations and accident reviews, this system can do it all. Not to mention the maintenance tracking! Check it out! What do you dislike about Motive?

I'd say that the least likable thing about Motive is the ever changing account managers. It made invoicing at the beginning a nightmare due to never knowing who was the correct person to reach out too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
