Prioritization and time-boxing for focus. Since using Motion, I do not forget stuff any more, I do the right things at the right time and I am better able to separate of what's important at the very moment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes the desktop ab is still a bit buggy that that's improving on da daily basis. If a company is as innovative as Motion, you have obstacles here and there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It has liberated my mind from constantly stressing about getting my todos finished in time -> my tasks are scheduled and inconsistencies are flagged. My mind is clear thanks for Motion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Since they've added the project management features, I've been a bit lost, and Motion has as well. Some of my tasks got lost and I had to go dig them up. Dependencies don't seem to get scheduled and stuff got lost on the wayside as a results. Dissappointing. Maybe a good tutorial would help? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Motion is great at helping create a tasklist which is scheduled in my calendar straight away. The process is great as it encourages prioritisation, and prevents overcommitting and not delivering.
Also really like Motion now distinguishes between work hours and night hours so I can choose when to schedule something. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like the black calendar background. It would be great if we could have the option for a white background. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Motion has been life-changing ever since I jumped into the space of using it. A majority of my time has been spent finding ways to organize my daily tasks that, all take between 15-30 minutes. Motion's next level is the ai task building converting into time blocks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Their iPhone app needs some work to include more than just the main calendar and I also prefer to see completed tasks in the app, but it doesn't currently show. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love that it takes the guess work about what I should do that day...it lowers my decision fatigue and helps me plan my life Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is a little on the pricier side, especially as I started using it as a college student. Also, there are still some bugs. Nothing that totally ruins the experience, but it can make things a little slow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Motion is most helpful in arranging tasks and meetings automatically. Instead of trying to "fit" everything in, it automatically moves to fit tasks and meetings. Game Changer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes the interface is difficult to link and can be finicky. Once I have it set up, it works seamlessly. Overall, really no big issues and the online library is quite helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy to 'brain dump' and get all of my quick to-dos in. Also helps minimize my worry about forgetting long term ideas that I have. I can put them in and circle back to them when they pop up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'd like to be able to create a maximum duration for work chunks for projects. For example, if I have a 40 hour task for a bigger project, where it indicates a minimum work block time (breaking in to less time) I'd like to be able to put a max time, rather than having to manually break the steps down even further. Easy to use, intuitive, fairly customizable, replaces a number of disparate tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Still has some added features that could make it a little better over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
