What do you like best about Microsoft Project & Portfolio Management?

It's super easy tool to create a project timeline and manage resources allocation for each phase of project. We have a ability to add labor cost and metrial cost for each resource which will give us the total cost of the project. Gantt Chart will be ato generated based on our timeline which we can use for our project presentation with leadership team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Project & Portfolio Management?

Cost of the project and portfolio is high compared to other projects management tool. They have three plan for cloud and 3 for on-premises. Also this is not included in office 365 licence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Microsoft Project & Portfolio Management?

Among the best things about Microsoft Project is its seamless integration with Office 365. Not only can I access it from my web or mobile device, but because it has a dedicated section within this suite of products, highly complex tasks such as creating projects from scratch and generating visually appealing reports such as burndown charts and Gantt timelines are now easier than ever. In addition, MS Project's advanced portfolio management tools allow me to have complete visibility of all current proposals while tracking their progress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Project & Portfolio Management?

Microsoft Project is not the best choice when a project's timeline has numerous changes and lacks fixed dates and durations. Since most people don't have access to Excel, exporting data to Excel is inconvenient, making it difficult to share the data. Before entering any information, users should fully understand the scope of their project before setting it up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft Project & Portfolio Management solving and how is that benefiting you?

My project timeline can be viewed comprehensively using Microsoft Project, which allows me to plan and adjust as needed. Whenever we can predict the outcome of different scenarios, our timelines are more successful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Microsoft Project & Portfolio Management?

Project Online gives me the flexibility to monitor the productivity of portfolios, teams and projects with multiple views available by person, project or across all resources. With just a few clicks, I can quickly create visuals that provide direct feedback from team members, which helps me adjust tasks as needed in response to changing circumstances. It's impressive how smoothly our organisation is now getting work done thanks to the time-saving organisational scripting tools built into Project Online. I could go on and on about all the great features, but I think you can see why my favourite aspect of project management is Microsoft Project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Project & Portfolio Management?

I find it difficult to learn the interface and processes of Microsoft Project & Portfolio Management. Also, this software does not integrate with non-Microsoft platforms, which is disappointing. The pricing of this programme is significantly higher than its competitors in the project management market. Resource allocation using MS PPM also proves to be a laborious task, as a lot of data needs to be managed accurately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
