What do you like best about Meltwater?

I loved that the explore topics load instantly, we had plently of seats for our team members and the audience reports were extremely helpful when looking into followers of a topic or Twitter account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Meltwater?

One downside of using the tool for social listening is the limited historical data we were able to pull for a topic. Often times I needed to go back farther than 15 months, or look at more 12 months time period at a given time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Meltwater solving and how is that benefiting you?

I was solving to make sure the audience is right for specific opportunities like around NBA, making sure the audience we are trying to reach is there. Meltwater is a tremendous tool that assists with your overall PR & communications and social media strategy. The platform provides the right tools for understanding competitor insight and media intelligence. Through extensive media monitoring and social media listening, a brand or company can understand industry trends and increase the share of voice. Marketing KPI's such as website traffic and performance can be directly correlated through analytics and allow your communication and marketing efforts to produce optimal results as required. The analysis provided by the site in terms of keywords, high-frequency dates, being able to compare different searches to understand which brands are "winning on social" for a particular topic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It would be great to see more social channels included beyond Twitter, but I know this is something the team is looking to build on in the future.
