I love the robustness of the Meltwater platform. I can create all different types of queries to track different types of media mentions.
I also love that it sends me daily emails with a list of all our media mentions that I can customize myself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Due to the robustness of the platform, there’s a slight learning curve for employees who have to learn how to use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Meltwater’s clean and intuitive interface makes it easy to navigate and quickly access specific sections of the platform. Creating searches is also easier compared to other platforms like Cision and Sprout Social, which makes tracking media coverage feel more straightforward and less time-consuming. One of the main challenges with Meltwater is the learning curve, it takes some time to get familiar with all the features and how to use them effectively. The labelling of certain sections can also be a bit confusing, especially if you’re not using the platform regularly. It’s easy to forget where specific tools or functions are located, which can slow things down when trying to navigate the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Meltwater has been super easy to use. It's very user-friendly and quick to find what feature I'm looking to use. I use it almost every day for marketing and communications purposes; it's helped with my day-to-day work. I really like the scheduling feature on Meltwater, which allows you to plan ahead and choose the ideal time to post based on the activity on your page. Marketing is all about getting the most eyes on your post, so that feature is great, and Meltwater really helps with that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like to see even more analytics options and deeper integrations with the current partners. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's super simple to create the searches and find daily relevant news based on key words to keep up to date on the industry and how far our reach of in media goes. We also use it to create monthly social media reports and can easily see who our audience it and what content is perfoming the best. Our representive at Meltwater is super helpful any time we have questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There's a bit of a learning curve in finding where everything is. Such as the social media analytics being in a seperate place to other analytics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Meltwater's daily digests and robust reporting dashboards make it easy to see exactly what I need! Each morning I start my day reading through the daily digest to see if there are any customer support fires to put out. When you have nearly 400 shop locations, Meltwater makes it easy to tap in and address concerns and praise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Meltwater is an expensive tool, but when budgeted for, it has driven results for our immediate team and owners. There is an abundance of features which is helpful, but can make it difficult to know where to begin looking and clicking for an answer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how Meltwater Radarly provides a comprehensive overview of social media trends. It enables me to track current and past conversations about our product offering in real-time, which is crucial for understanding player sentiment and preferences. Sentiment analysis and real-time alerts keep me in the loop even when I don't have time for a deep dive Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Although the interface is user-friendly, there is still a learning curve to fully utilize all the advanced features. It can take some time to get accustomed to the various tools and functionalities available. But it is worth the investment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Meltwater is a great tool for managing all social media accounts. The overall interface is easy to use, which make scheduling posts very quick. The comment management system is great too, since you can have all your accounts pulled up into one spot, and filter out certain types of messages, ex: Direct Messages, so you can react and reply to all the other ones first. Overall, love how simple and easy it is to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I dislike about Meltwater is that it can be pretty laggy sometimes, especially when you're managing a larger number of accounts at the same time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Meltwater has been supporting us for several years on two main points: alerting and influencer marketing. The configuration of searches is facilitated with teams that are attentive and very proactive, allowing us to regularly update terms and track daily outcomes thanks to reports, and even live on the hottest topics with Slack integration! Regarding influence, the tool is very fast and allows us to scrutinize each account before collaborations to ensure the right choice is made, before seeing statistics rise in real-time to best follow the strategy! Finally, the courses offered by Meltwater also allow for improvement on certain points and to validate acquired skills with a certification! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't see any major drawbacks to using Meltwater except for the presentation of the data. There is so much data collected that the dashboards can sometimes be complex and it can be difficult to find the key information. Nevertheless, the user interface of the tool remains good and it's better to be in this position and have too much information than not enough! In any case, this doesn't prevent us from using the tool daily! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like how easy it is to use. We use Engage daily for our work and have been able to keep better track of our communications content and key metrics. The Meltwater team is also supportive and has quickly helped solve any challenge we've had and trained us on anything we'd like to learn about their platforms. I often struggle with using the Engage app. It is inconvenient to have to type in my login information every time I try to use it. It's a small step but I don't have to do this with most other apps. Additionally, the app sometimes doesn't load the posts that I've drafted in the online version. I would love to use the app more, but it's not as easy to edit and reschedule posts. I like how easy it is to get news about our College in an easy to read feed. Once the filters are set up, we can view most of the news that involves our faculty and students. We are able to share this information with them and they are always excited about the coverage that their research is getting. This is much easier than trying to do a browser search to find what I am looking for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish it was a little easier to create the filters ourselves and wasn't so complicated where we needed to reach out to staff to get these set up with departments and center as us. I wish it was easier to set up newsletters with outside of meltwater users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's incredibly user intuitive, moreso than its competitors that I have had exeprience utilizing in the past. The data it puts out is reliable and readable in the various visualizations it has available. We are able to onboard people quickly, and have had minimal issues switching from our previous social listening platform to this one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Compared to other social listening software platforms, Meltwater does not have the same amount of historical data available (1 year of social media data vs. 5, 10, 15 years) - this has caused some issues in our analyses, as it would be preferable to have more context around the trends. Additionally, there is not as much personalization to the visualizations as we have found in other platforms - the charts cannot be segmented/subsegemented to the same level of detail. This isn't a deal breaker, per say, it just makes things a bit more bulky. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
