I've tried out countless other products that offer the core features that Toutapp does: email tracking, template storage, basic reporting, basic CRM, basic personalization, Gmail integration, automated followups, and basic marketing automation. None of them has all of these features packaged as well as Toutapp for the same price.
They've been making a lot of progress building out the automation tools because I'm sure their clients are wanting this. Now you can build custom campaigns that are multi-stage sequences of messages. When sifting through contacts in the Toutapp UI (which is a basic CRM type tool) it can be very slow and clunky. Seems like the architecture is light. However, this is *not* a core aspect of Toutapp. I do not use it as a CRM and I only occasionally need to do so, usually when changing someone's first name or something like that. I am mostly interacting with Toutapp from my Gmail via the Gmail extension, and this works perfectly.
Other minor negatives: something funny with the footer append - I can't quite customize it like I want.
Also, the Highrise integration is really excellent, except that it doesn't sync the contact's company name/position back into Highrise when a contact is added natively in Toutapp. I'm sure this is because many of their users are more Salesforce-focused. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Marketo sales connect (formerly ToutApp) has a very easy setup to use where we can easily share templates with our colleagues. it has good email tracking capability. We can see who is reading what and when. good combination with Gmail outlook and the other CRMs. it also increases our pipeline. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The email bounces with Marketo connect (formerly ToutApp) sometimes. Marketo sales connect does have not a dialer and its user interface is a little bit confusing. The testing of templates is not available and their not so good whenever we need any help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is effortless to use, and as being part of the Sales and Marketing function, we could create campaigns quite quickly, and the interface promotes that ease of use, so there was no difficulty in anyone knowing what to do or how to do it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It does not have its own CRM is quite annoying compared to other tools, although you can integrate it with different CRMs. Automation in adding leads to a campaign should be made easier rather than having to add them manually to any cadence that we have set up. It is a very necessary tool in an organization, because you can know when the client has received your email and when it has reviewed it, so it allows you to know the rate of receptivity that customers have with your products and services. The time that I have been using the tool has caused me two inconveniences, one of them is that the tool sometimes becomes somewhat tedious and slow the process, therefore I should improve that part, and on the other hand it is that the tool allows me send emails to a certain customer limit, that is, if the information must be sent to a certain number of customers that exceed the ToutApp limit, I must batch send the information. Completely able to integrate with Gmail, Outlook, Salesforce and many CRMs. ToutApp makes inserting times in my e-mail quite straightforward when I try to make a customer or prospect meeting. When I sent an email to the support team, they resolved my issue or answered my questions very quickly. I love receiving a notification when an email is opened and which links are clicked. It really takes a lot of the headache out of email marketing. Being able to see my reports email-by-email was wonderful, and breaking it down by subject was great. The user interface is sometimes awkward. The emails in a 4 to 5 thread setup will seem fake and confusing. Some bugs still exist. This is a necessary functionality in the B2B world, especially when automating inbound campaigns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It claims to know who opened emails (it doesn't). They sold us on team analytics (you have to pay more for that, but they won't tell you that till after you sign). The campaigns tab freezes out and forces some reps to delete cookies multiple times a day. The integration with Marketo and Salesforce is laughable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Tout app has an extremely easy setup and is a huge efficiency enhancer. I love being able to see whether or not a prospect is opening my email (helps me judge the effectiveness of my email titles), and being able to track how effective my email campaigns are as a whole.

I like the ability to create a template for my most commonly used eMail messages and syncing it with my outlooks. I also like building and delivering targetted campaign messages and tracking views and clicks on links. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like ToutApp support, the lack of it. The product is not working as intended and mysteriously works sometimes and other times it won't. Currently I can not do the following:
Delete Template Groups
Upload CSV File with even 10 people in it
They won't allow me to talk to anyone on the phone and tell me it should be working fine. I send multiple emails with screen shots and they never agree to talk to me. I am not sure why, but they don't care about me or my business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
