Leapsome has been very easy to use for all our employees. The feedback loops have been instrumental in giving honest yet effective feedback. It has a good set of integrations as well, making it very accessible.
The ability to view each individuals performance as a chart as well as mapping skills to each employee has been handled very well and makes it easy to assess performance. Peer reviews give an added perspective to performance reviews.
Having 1on1's and team Meetings, tied in with Goals, Reviews and learning makes it a very holistic system. You can see your OKRs during your weekly 1on1's helping you balance the big picture with your work for the week. The meeting features also sync with your Google Calendar making it very easy to use.
Goals: It's very useful to be able to see the ORG goals & team goals in one place while having individual drivers for each goal
Reviews: Probably one of Leapsome's best features - from having an in-depth competency matrix to being able to tie in Compensation with it, it's a very comprehensive system. There has been nothing to dislike about Leapsome. What would have helped is the better placement of certain tabs in the review screen that would help with better organisation of questions.

Leapsome is an excellent platform for objective setting, for personal and peer review and for development tracking, it's easy to distribute formation material throught the collaborators and it makes collaborators go back to it frequently in order to complete their courses which ends up indirectly making them frequently check their set objectives, we were using a different platform for this previously and it was really easy to transition to Leapsom Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Leapsome is a powerful people management platform, but it has some downsides. Users often report a steep learning curve, making onboarding challenging. The interface, while feature-rich, can feel overwhelming and unintuitive at times. Additionally, pricing may be high for smaller teams, and some integrations with other tools could be more seamless. Everything seems very organized and straightforward; the UX design is what I enjoy the most as it is very user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing, leading to a good user engagement in the platform within the company. 1. I like the review modules and how they integrate with goals. I set up numerical goals for my employees and automate a review cycle where the manager can go over these goals every 2 months. It is automated and easy to use
2. I like the instant feedback - it's a great way to quickly give someone feedback and has helped our firm's culture regarding normalising giving negative feedback to others
3. It acts as a database for employees which I can use for other purposes outside of leapsome
4. The learning paths can be useful for employee onboarding and ongoing learning (which also can be linked to review cycles)

There isn’t anything I dislike about Leapsome, but I do wish more of their great features, like the Learning and Skills Modules were included in the base package. Unfortunately, these features are offered à la carte and can be costly. It allows me to track the set objectives, being able to record various aspects of it and use it as a future reference for similar work or projects that integrate actions of the same type. Additionally, it allows the creation of peer assessment and evaluation tools with which everyone can rate their colleagues, generating immediate feedback among them and helping to create a support where progress in their competencies can be visualized and better understand what you contribute. I can easily and directly praise the rest of my colleagues on their competencies and suggest possible improvements without them taking it as an "attack." It has been easy to integrate the product into my daily work routines, turning it into another tool that has improved my productivity and that of those around me, always counting on the help of technical support when I have needed it. Perhaps the worst thing about the tool is that the ease of use and the directness with which compliments or feedback can be sent to colleagues and their managers can be used maliciously by some, creating a strained environment.

I love how simple the user interface is, it clearly shows me what tasks I have to do when approaching mid-year reviews or end of year reviews, with clear deadlines for each. This helps me manage my time much better and I know exactly what to do and when.

Allowing Leapsome to be integrated with Slack is great to keep up with when receiving feedback or any actions that needs to be completed.
