The upside is that it makes cybersecurity feel practical instead of overwhelming. The training uses real-world examples, short modules, and interactive content that make it easier to understand threats like phishing, password attacks, and social engineering. Since students rely so heavily on email, online platforms, and shared networks, learning how to recognize cyber risks feels directly relevant.

Some of the training modules can feel repetitive. While the information is important, certain lessons can come across as more of a compliance task than an engaging learning experience, especially if the content feels predictable.

It helps solve the problem of limited cybersecurity awareness and the risk of making simple online mistakes. Since we use email, learning platforms, cloud storage, and public Wi-Fi regularly, these risks are very real. The training benefits me by helping me recognize common cyber threats. It also builds practical digital safety skills that are useful beyond school and in future workplaces.

It’s simple to use and the training and phishing tests feel realistic and actually help people learn without being boring.

There is room for improvement in how KnowBe4 handles SSO integrations.

It has helped us make our users more aware. The more we can teach and train our users, the less likely they are to fall victim to cybersecurity pitfalls.

It's ease of use. Users have no issues taking training and I have no issues setting up the training. The API use is also great allowing for automated workflows.

I cannot think of anything negative to say about knowbe4.

Employees are being cautious of emails coming into their inbox and they are learning more and more about the malicious signs of incoming emails and such.

What I like best about KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training is the ability to training staff on real-world phishing scams that have actually happened.

KnowBe4's content is always fresh and engaging. It presents useful information to users at any level of tech literacy (and this is coming from a user at a university, where levels of tech literacy are all over the map!). Their Learning Management System has capabilities that others have been unable to match, and continue to impress with their flexibility and openness to experiment with creative ways to stretch their boundaries. They have been a true partner for us in delivering all manner of organizational training.

Admittedly, my organization is trying to make KnowBe4's platform do things it was not necessarily intended to do. Some of our organizational tech debt has spilled over in this context, and that has made it challenging to make full use of KnowBe4 in the ways we would want. That said, they have never said 'no' to our out-of-the-box ideas, it just takes a while for feature requests to manifest as supported capabilities.

KnowBe4 is the primary delivery mechanism for all manner of required employee training. For cybersecurity awareness, we use the content that KnowBe4 provides (and it is great!). For other operational areas, we upload our own content (SCORM packages) and leverage KnowBe4 as the Learning Management System for delivery. It's ability to read Active Directory and understand the employee/supervisor relationship makes escalation notifications (when people haven't completed the training yet and the deadline approaches) is a game-changer for us, as the other systems we have used in the past didn't have that capability and those escalations had to be handled manually.

Short and to the point, relevent training that allows the user to be informed about current security issues that he/she may encounter not only at work but also at home. It is current, you won't be wondering how old the video is. It is easy to understand. From working in IT with the administrator of the software, he comment on how easy it is to deploy the training to our staff and students. The training not only includes the videos but also fake "tests" that make sure users are learning from the training they complete. This is done on a monthly to quarterly basis. Since it is intergrated into our email software, we are able to use it daily.

I have no complaints or dislikes about this software.

We have had some attempts on our organization from the outside to hack in. All through fake emails that looked very legit; even appeared to be from a coworker. We were able to remove that email from user accounts so that it wasn't opened. Find out who had opened and clicked the links. Actions were taken from there to not only change those users passwords but also be on alert that our network could be compromised. Thankfully it was not. I give credit to the individuals that completed the Security Awareness Training for recognizing what was taking place and to the software to allow our IT department to do what was needed to stop the threat.

So easy to manage and start campaigns, and makes learning interactive and fun.

I did not find anything that I dislike about it, however they should consider creating web browser extension to find phishing links in real time as they teach
