Kahuna is easy to use and provides fantastic customer support. Our organization uses Kahuna daily and it has been a game changer for our HR team, leaders, and educators to manage competencies and the employee onboarding process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are using the platform in a few different ways and some functionality is best suited for a more skill based application so we've had to make some adjustments for the competency based application but again with the fantastic support team we've been able to make adjustments and are excited for what we've created. The in-depth support, walkthroughs, and EXTENSIVE patience that the team had with our group's questions was above and beyond. Once we got the hang of the system, it improved our processes immensely, AND our associates, some of whom will use it EVERY DAY, are going to have a much more positive user experience than our previous system(s). The Kahuna Skills management solution in and of itself is absolutely a game changer for any organization that has a need to closely track and monitor the development of their employees skills, certifications, licenses or qualifications and align those to operational excellence. Deep levels of customization, integration with the existing HR Technology stack, quick and powerful analytics as well as ease of use for all levels of user is the muscle that defines the value at a high level and the level of detail able to be created from a wholistic view is a differenciator with competitor solutions. This is my second deployment of Kahuna in two field services organizations over the past 7 years or so and it has been a game changer. The icing on the cake is the actual Kahuna team themselves. I have never met a more knowledgeable and focused service provider in this space. Any support requests are met with responses typically in less than 12 hours, and the account support team maintains an ongoing and valuable relationship with their clients. There is really no distractors that I can think of for this platform. I would say that if you have a very small organization, perhaps this isnt the solution for you from a SaaS cost perspective -but if you have more than about 100 employees, and particularly if you are linking the data to resource deployment and/or you have a need for a very solid and auditable system or record, the ROI is exceptionally easy to justify. Kahuna was the solution our company was looking for in a CMS. We enjoy the flexibility and customization you can implement to fit the various business needs. The email system notifications, dashboards and import templates could be improved. Although these areas could use some improvements the Kahuna team does listen to their customer's request and we have witnessed several improvements request implemented yearly. We compared seven competency management systems, and Kahuna outstood them all! Each company demonstrated its product, and Kahuna's team was the most professional and experienced. Every Kahuna team member we've worked with has been pleasant, organized, timely, and helpful. The team I have worked with from Kahuna has taken the time to really show us the program and also helped us understand how the system can improve different aspects of our business. Kahuna truly feels like another member of our team and they treat our relationship as a true partnership. As a whole, they are very committed to the success of the team. Their customer service is also at another level. We have requested several upgrades, and feature changes, and they have delivered these in a timely fashion and been very open on the timeline to get these changes made. Because of our partnership we have been able to integrate the development of our employees into our process and are able to prove the growth and track the trends with the data that is collected. Really I have no dislikes. The main reason for this is that anytime I have had an issue or needed something changed the team has always been there to support my team and helps achieve our goals. The team over a Kahuna has really listened to their customers and improved upon their systems based on customer feedback. Most providers say "here is the system you make it work", but that isn't Kahuna they say "How can we make it work for you." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
