We are only using the DAM component right now and have been very happy with it overall. At the initial implementation, we were able to specify category filters unique to our industry and brand, and add and remove values ourselves for ongoing maintence. The organization system is flexible and the interface is intuitive. We were also able to work with the IB team to build a custom skin for the web interface that's just a nice extra touch. Our custom fields don't appear via free text search, rather you have to use the filtering system. The new facial recognition is an add-on feature and during our selection process, it was implied to be included when it launched. It can be slow to load assets, but I don't think any other system would do better given the file sizes we're working with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
– It houses all our digital assets and is great for brand management
- The interface is modern and clean
– There are frequent updates/maintenance
- Our account manager is quick to respond
– It's easy to use for the most part so very little education was required for users when we launched Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
– There's no alert when you upload a file that already exists with the same name, so you end up with duplicates. Not helpful when you're doing a bulk upload and need to do a search for every single file in advance to make sure it doesn't already exist. We need to supercede previous versions instead of having a mix of old and new, so for that reason it doesn't seem very intuitive when it comes to version control.
– It's often slow to load asset thumbnails. We've tried everything our acount manager said to help things load more quickly but even just loading the preview thumbnails for a folder of assets can take minutes.
– Reported a bug very early on (something that once worked but stopped working suddenly). There was technical support initially but they couldn't work it out so the helpdesk stopped contacting us with updates and the loop wasn't closed. Same thing when we wanted to establish a form and workflow – support waned and it was forgotten when we switched account managers.
– The reporting and analytics are really very basic. I do wish we had more set up support initially because I think reporting and other features would be more robust if we'd done a better job at the set up stage.
– There are a few other small quirks that I'm sure will be ironed out at some stage, like how you can't drag and drop when uploading a single asset, only for bulk uploads. That sort of thing can be annoying when you have a complex folder structure to navigate so drag and drop would be a lot easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the administration powers all being web-based, the flexibility of creating your own structures, and required fields. The layout is fairly intuitive, and the share functions flexible. The preview panels are large and easy to navigate. Customisable metadata and folder icons make navigation easier. The support team is relatively quick to respond and sort out any issues. I have had users report differing speeds and slow searches on windows machines and using Microsoft Edge. There are limitations to working on files through plugins not necessarily apparent until you try using them. We optioned our pack based on designers' experience and keeping working files out of the DAM prior to making edits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that everyone in the company can access the online images. It's all in one place, so it's easy to find and not time-consuming. I used intelligence bank for the first time when I started my role and it was a breeze to pick up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have not encountered any yet. Everything is working fine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Customer Support has been hands-on, and the onboarding phase has involved lots of questions, back and forth, and guidance. Multiple members of the IB team have been in nearly a dozen meetings with us as we prepare for launching our environment with complex needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Getting our existing assets transferred over was a significant hassle. However, this was more the fault of our old system than IB's. Also, their new AI facial recognition has some unexpected limitations and will require lots of front-end setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Intelligence Bank allowed us to find efficacies in managing our brand assets. Prior to IB, we were housing our marketing photos, collateral, and graphics in a google drive which was not effective. This platform has enabled us to organize, monitor, and supervise the creation of digital assets and create a process for approval that was quick and reliable. For multiple locations in our company, it is easy for us to communicate branding guidelines across locations and make sure the brand is being used correctly.
The entire team can use the system with ease, we've had a lot of positive feedback from everyone on the team with how easy it is to use. It's saved us countless hours and headaches in our marketing process. Even the customer service and platform support has been helpful whenever anyone on the team has a question about a feature! There are a lot of ways to customize IntelligenceBank, my recommendation is to take your time with their account executives to really understand what you need with your company. They are quite a few features that they offered and it could be overwhelming if you don't communicate that. They will help you find the right fit for you and help build out exactly what your team needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
IntelligenceBank has a sophisticated tagging system that can be adjusted and catered specifically to our needs. It's super useful for finding photos with particular people. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish there was no upload limit on the files. There are small bugs here and there, but the team is on top of updating it so that it is working how we want it. One feature I would like to see in future updates is facial recognition to make tagging more streamlined. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It has a lot to offer. Auto-tagging, bulk photo uploading, facial recognition, filtering options, catches duplicate photos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It does not have a bulk re-naming feature after the initial upload. The facial recognition is not perfect and has to be corrected at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Version control allows for backward decisioning. New capabilities like Office Offline will be a game changer. On screen review of changes as opposed to multiple downloads is a key feature Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
User auditability is basic at best, and is an irony given the MOPS function is a key feature but not user access management. Mobile approval is basic and integration with 3rd party platforms is limited. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The developers of this software have clearly experienced the problem themselves. The UX is great and the features are on point. It has made file elements like external management, and version control a breeze. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
