What do you like best about iMIS?

Recommendations to others considering iMIS:

iMIS is specifically suit and designed for small to medium level organizations/associations. Frequent webinars and online training are available time to time. What problems is iMIS solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about iMIS?

We have seen a drastic reduction of manual tasks. The automated processes allow us to spend time on other work. Also IMIS can integrate with many other products which is also a great time and effort saving for us. The online help and videos are superb and we have now incorporated them into our own new staff training. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iMIS?

It can be a little frustrating to have to pay for different modules, on top of the already high licence costs. We recently moved from 2017 to EMS and some functionality is no longer available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is iMIS solving and how is that benefiting you?

IMIS provides us with secure data management. It is easy to manage users and members alike. We can automate many routine tasks such as invoicing and reporting, as well as member joining and renewal processes. We have seen a big reduction in manual effort required of our staff, thus saving us time and resources. All of this allows employees to focus on more strategic tasks. What do you like best about iMIS?

The transition to iMIS has been great. Having the ability to build relationships with your implementation team so that they really understand your needs and can help problem solve has probably been the best part of our experience. They respect the budget we set forward, and while they educate us about how their other products would help, there is no pressure to purchase anything and stay within the parameters you have set. They have been incredible cheerleaders for our organization and staff throughout this process.

The software itself is great. Our organization has been on the hunt for something that really does it all, and I think we have found it with iMIS. We can manage our memberships, sponsorships, conferences, education, and more all in one space and there is no fear that we will outgrow the software as our Association grows. What do you dislike about iMIS?

Implementation is a bit daunting, but the support you receive from the team helps a lot. It can also be quite technical with queries and reporting, but once you figure it out, it's not so bad. There are a ton of online resources available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about iMIS?

We have been using iMIS for over 20 years. We upgraded to the Cloud version this year. It is easy to use and navigate. It serves all of our needs from membership, products, event registrations, and advertising. Every panel/section of iMIS is customizable to meet your needs. We love using and modifying the dashboards to track goals for membership, event registrations, award programs, orders, and financial information. Another thing we love is the process automation. We use it to send dues invoices, confirmations, invoices, reports to staff and alerts on member records.

Customer support is very responsive and helpful. Their documentation and tutorial videos have been a lifesaver.

iMIS is produced as an out of the box solution and covers many of the needs a basic organization may have. However, if you require adjustments to any process it can be challenging to meet your exact specifications. What do you like best about iMIS?

Easy to Navigate - The platform is not only easy to navigate but also quite intuitive. Less tech-savvy users are able to use it with no issues.

Customization - We can tailor the modules for our own needs and use RiSE to formulate queries to produce reports unique to our organization.

Broad Range of Functions - iMIS covers a wide range of useful features - from membership management to case file management to event planning.

Support - The Customer support team is always ready to respond to an email or jump on a call.

In summary, after using iMIS every day for over 3 years now, it has significantly improved our efficiency and productivity. The out of box package was very easy to implement and integrate with our existing tools. I would recommend it to any organization seeking a versatile and adaptable management tool. There is a bit of a learning curve when creating queries and producing reports. However, iMIS has an online training center that can assist with all of that.

Member Engagement - IMIS is benefiting us through creating enhanced Member Engagement - they have tools targeting communication and personalized interactions, which has led to higher member interaction and awareness.

Data Extraction - iMIS provides the ability to customize queries to find the exact info we need and not sift through unnecessary data.

As a daily user of iMIS, I’ve come to appreciate its extensive features and the impact it’s had on my day-to-day work. iMIS has streamlined much of our data management and reporting processes and streamlining internal procedures, which is critical for our organization since we handle complex membership information and frequently generate detailed reports.

One of the standout features is the ability to customize reports with ease. The report builder is flexible enough to tailor reports to specific metrics, which has been a game-changer. It also supports a range of integrations, which makes data synchronization seamless with other tools we use. I find the user interface clean and relatively intuitive; once you get used to the setup, navigating through modules becomes second nature.

Another huge benefit is automation. iMIS automates a lot of routine tasks, like membership renewal notifications and event registration tracking. We are getting more options for automation which is great as it helps our Customer Service in less work and more productive. We are also using it on reporting and member management which has been made more accessible to manage multiple entities within the association, members, chapters, employees, etc. We are bringing courses and events back in IMIS and building member profiles with all the information under one page which is great. What do you like best about iMIS?

What I appreciate the most about iMIS is its ability to house all the components of our organization inside of one, easy-to-use platform. Myself and our team are inside the platform every day and we've found this to be the most superior AMS platform. We searched for literal years before deciding on iMIS EMS back in 2020. With the help of our fantastic integration partners, enSYNC, the implementation was successful and we've been operating on the platform for over 3 years now. We've utilized both the ASI iMIS support team and enSYNC for all of our needs any everything has been able to been resolved quickly and efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iMIS?

I think one downside I've experienced is report writing. The Intelligent Query Architect can be quite cumbersome, especially if you are not used to SQL-type reporting. What do you like best about iMIS?

The included features include the ability to use the bridge feature to connect to other applications. The standard features and parts make it flexiable enough to meet most of an assocation needs. The ASI support/help page and adding the learning hub allows you to continue to learn and can aswer most questions regarding how to get the most of the software and train new and current employees. What do you dislike about iMIS?

While it is an easy database to use and can be changed to meet an associations needs, if you do to much custom changes, it does make it harder to update when required. You need to really plan out the impact of custom work and weigh the benefits of using non-standard parts to the long term use of the software.
