What do you like best about HST Pathways?

HST project management was very organized and got us on the right foot from the beginning. Organized and customizable. Open availability to meet for planning and progress reporting. IT/interface team was responsible and held accountable to the timeline. The product is as advertised and as we perfect the workflows, will bring efficiency and accuracy that was lacking. I am hopeful that it will save me a FTE while bringing in more upfront payments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about HST Pathways?

What do you dislike about HST Pathways?

I unfortunately came to ASC with only 3 months till go live so I felt that the training was rushed and monitors/ devices were not all working when we went live. Need more than 1 trainer onsite for go live. Dislike that pt engagement does not automatically flow into Echart Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is HST Pathways solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about HST Pathways?

There are a lot of things that we like about HST. We like that we can customize the eChart side to fit our facility and our needs for each doctor/procedure as needed. It is user friendly and we have been able to call and get customer support help very quickly. I would definitley recommend this software to others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HST Pathways?

One of the only things that I don't love about HST Pathways is that there isn't an area where you can easily manouver between a patients previous charts. You can search them and look through them that way. It isn't quite as convenient as others I have used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is HST Pathways solving and how is that benefiting you?

All of our staff have worked in different charting systems and we hear over and over how helpful HST is compared to the other ones they have used. I mostly work on the practice management side and I appreciate how easy to manouver the billing side is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about HST Pathways?

There are several positives about these products. The integration between products is good. One of the best parts about HST eChart is the ability to customize your charting experience. Also, the ability for each area to have their own area for charting is a huge plus (ie. preop, intraop, anesthesia). Information that those areas need to see (ie. allergies, vital signs, etc) flow into each section. That way when you are teaching a new person how to use the chart, you just have to teach them their specific area. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HST Pathways?

HST has different products for different purposes. This can lead to fractured processes and missing information. For example, there is not currently a good preop call tool that the patient can fill their information in before hand. There is a tool in HST CaseCoordination, but this information does not flow into HST eChart. Having a fully capable suite of products that fully integrate with each other would be a huge success, which is what HST is working toward, just not there yet. I think when all of these issues are ironed out, HST will be a premier product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is HST Pathways solving and how is that benefiting you?

The greateset solution that HST provides is the ability to use one products in many modalities. The ability for a doctor's office to use Case Coordination to post a case, the ASC to approve the case in Case Coordination, the ASC to be able to utilize Practice Management for it multiple features (case preference cards and inventory management, billing and claims management), and the abilit for the ASC to utilize eChart is a huge plus. What do you like best about HST Pathways?

HST Pathways has helped bring us so far ahead of our old paper charting. There are several things we love about it: The ease of having it web-based so it can be accessed from anywhere, the ability to make real-time changes to the E-chart, and the reports from Practice Management are easy to find and customize to help us make improvements and see deficiencies. We currently have Practice Management, E-charting, Clarity and Patient Engagement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HST Pathways?

It would be helpful if the E-charting patient status connected with the Patient Engagement patient status/family texting. This would save time from needing to click in two different screens to relay the same information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is HST Pathways solving and how is that benefiting you?

Problems being addressed: Communication between staff members, administration, billing, physicians. We are able to be more productive when not having to track down a paper chart which the only source of some information. We are saving money on paper, man-hours working charts and time literally spent just finding charts. We also are saving time/money by not scanning charts. It has also increased our communication with patient family members by using Patient Engagement using the texting feature for rides. We have had very good feedback on this. Clarity has helped make our billing process more efficient. and we are actually getting paid faster by the patient's having a better understanding of what is owed and to whom. What do you like best about HST Pathways?

The Practice management software is very user friendly and easy to use. We also use some of their other products, which are wonderful! We are excited to use their EMR as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HST Pathways?

The only thing I'd like to see different, is I'd like the patient pre-admission to "talk" to the PM/EMR. It would definitely make things easier. Everything else is great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
