HRSoft and COMPview greatly changed how our organization manages compensation processes. The benefits far outweigh the negatives, however we have found that the system can be nuanced and doesn't align with our organizational structure. HRSoft has helped ou organization significantly reduce the number of hours our corporate and field teams spend developing, reviewing, and managing spreadsheets to execute on compensation processes. In addition to the time saved, HRSoft has ensured greater accuracy in our annual bonus and market adjustment processes. The system provides data integrity and vastly reduces the opportunities for errors. It has also increased accessibility and transparency for our field teams. What do you like best about HRSoft Compensation Management?

Because our Comp Philosophy and Merit logic is complex, the customization capability of HRsoft was immensely helpful, and part of the reason we decided to go with HRsoft instead of Workday's Advanced Comp. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HRSoft Compensation Management?

After delivering the specs of the logic we needed for the tool, the team moved forward to implement them and kicked the tool back to us for testing without doing any preliminary testing/troubleshooting themselves to ensure our specifications were operating as intended. As a result, we had a large amount of changes, corrections, and updates to make to the tool before we were ready for go-live. This drove more work to our team than we were initially anticipating. What do you like best about HRSoft Compensation Management?

We love how customizable the tool is. We LOVE the team we work with at HRSoft - we truly feel like we are a team working together. We also love how upline leaders can easily see every compensation decision in their downline. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HRSoft Compensation Management?

The hierarchy feature was something we had to get used to; we don't necessarily need a compensation worksheet to go all the way up the "approval" chain, but we've learned to work with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is HRSoft Compensation Management solving and how is that benefiting you?

We used to utilize Compensation Management in UKG Pro and it was not customizable at all. For our programs we had to do a ton of manual manipulation and/or had to do processes outside of system because UKG couldn't handle it. HRSoft is so customizable that we have no work-arounds and can do everything in system. The HRSoft team has been so amazing to work with as we've built our programs/processes into the tool. It is helpful to both managers, leadership and the comp team to have one place to enter the merit cycle increases and have it cascade against the hierarchy. We also operate in many different countries and its nice to have the currency conversion. We also use the product to processs promotions and pay out our annnual bonus. We no longer have to use Excel spreadsheets for our annual merit cycle

We have a single portal for managers to enter their merit increase, promotions, bonus payout and equity grants

The budget is housed in one place and updates dynamically

What do you like best about HRSoft Compensation Management?

HRSoft streamlines the compensation planning process and upgrades the experience as compared to executing a manual (typically Excel-based) process. The tool has been consistent and has the ability to function in the ways most organizations require for merit cycles, promotion cycles and bonus administration. The user interface is modest and the tool is aesthetically built much like an Excel worksheet might be. There is limited interactivity and the tool needs to be integrated with your HRIS. It is not natively linked to my company's existing core HRIS system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about HRSoft Compensation Management?

We have implemented multiple systems in the last 5 years and this system was by far the easiest process we experienced. From the Implementation team, to system configuration, this was the best implemetation we had and we were impressed with the level of service we received from HR Soft. The integration from our current HRIS to HR Soft was seamless and has made that management of employee data very simple. We use this for our quarterly reviews, so it has removed the manual prcoess we used to perform in excel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have not found anything in the system we do not like. We were able to program the system to our needs and our Management team loves the new system and has said it was so much easier than our previous process. We used to manually create excel merit workbooks for each Director and above and in some quarters, that could be over 30+ workbooks. All changes to employee data had to be manually done and resent out. What do you like best about HRSoft Compensation Management?

COMPview is very user-friendly! When I began my career I had very minimal experience with a compensation planning system and with the assistance of our HRSoft team I was able to learn the system fairly quickly. COMPview facilitates all our yearly comp processes and makes Q1 a lot more manageable. With the amount of features offered, we can tailor the system to make our compensation cycles run smoothly.
