I like the level of customization offered by HRSoft Compensation Management. Our organization has specific needs regarding our compensation structure, and the software is flexible enough to adapt to our needs rather than forcing us to adhere to rigid formats. This adaptability significantly eases our year-end processes, whereby it serves as both a planning tool and a platform for managers to input their recommendations. Moreover, I find the HRSoft team to be incredibly responsive, which adds to the overall positive experience with the software. We also benefit from a Dayforce integration that has worked well, enhancing the functionality and inter-operability of HRSoft with our existing systems. Even though the learning curve can be steep, the comprehensive learning and documentation provided facilitate self-help and mastery of the tool, making it manageable over time. Finally, our annual review process of adjusting the system is very structured and works well, indicating the software's ongoing suitability to our evolving needs.

The HRSoft prof support team was very patient, as I joined our company after the initial requirements had been established, to allow me the opportunity to revise the requirements to match up with forward vision/strategy around our internal process. Great collaboration with the HRSoft team to finalize the platform build. Rollout to our organization, which was pushed out more broadly than prior years, was more than successful with literally zero issues raised by our management team. Thank you HRSoft team!

**What do you like best about HRSoft Compensation Management?**

I like the ability to have a development environment to test new uses of the system. I like our ability to create more in the tool, including additional fields and calculations. I like the flexibility to personalize the manager's view as needed, especially for other countries. I enjoy working with the team at COMPview and HRsoft. They have been able to build a different setup for our legal environment and needs. HRsoft is always working on improvements especially based on feedback we provide and has made many updates in the last couple years.

**What do you dislike about HRSoft Compensation Management?**

We are unable to directly connect our system to HRsoft and have to manually upload our data due to internal restrictions. We would like to see more knowledge transfer and information from both HRsoft and current customers beyond their annual conference which is great to attend.

**Recommendations to others considering HRSoft Compensation Management:**

We ask for everything that we need and the HRsoft team figures it out to make it happen. Their only limitations are reporting and notifications from what we have done.

We have all of our annual merit and bonus decisions in HRsoft, which allows for 1 point of reference, live correct data, and simplified experience. We have been working with HRsoft to set up the hierarchy the best so managers can see their direct and indirect reports as needed and we are not granting access to too many people who should not see compensation.

HRSoft has helped our organization streamline and simplify our compensation processes for bonuses and market adjustments. The platform is easy to navigate for users and administrators have a myriad of options to ensure the system is tailored to their organization’s process.

**What do you dislike about HRSoft Compensation Management?**

HRSoft and COMPview greatly changed how our organization manages compensation processes.  The benefits far outweigh the negatives, however we have found that the system can be nuanced and doesn't align with our organizational structure. However, we have learned to work through these issues with the help of our engagement team.

**What problems is HRSoft Compensation Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HRSoft has helped ou organization significantly reduce the number of hours our corporate and field teams spend developing, reviewing, and managing spreadsheets to execute on compensation processes. In addition to the time saved, HRSoft has ensured greater accuracy in our annual bonus and market adjustment processes. The system provides data integrity and vastly reduces the opportunities for errors.  It has also increased accessibility and transparency for our field teams. The ability to make real-time changes and updates in the system and immediately see budget impact is invaluable.

Because our Comp Philosophy and Merit logic is complex, the customization capability of HRsoft was immensely helpful, and part of the reason we decided to go with HRsoft instead of Workday's Advanced Comp.

After delivering the specs of the logic we needed for the tool, the team moved forward to implement them and kicked the tool back to us for testing without doing any preliminary testing/troubleshooting themselves to ensure our specifications were operating as intended. As a result, we had a large amount of changes, corrections, and updates to make to the tool before we were ready for go-live. This drove more work to our team than we were initially anticipating.

The problem the system is solving is by providing a tool that can support our complex logic. This benefits us because we are able to implement a tool that supports our philosophy rather than tailoring our logic to meet the limitations of a tool.

**What do you like best about HRSoft Compensation Management?**

Once I coudl figure out the UX it fundamentally got the job done.

**What do you dislike about HRSoft Compensation Management?**

UX:
First the initial screen I get a compensation reports dashboard down at the bottom. I'm expecting these things to be clickable to bring me into the details behind them, but none of them are. Which brings me to the next point, it's not immediately clear how I get into my actual comp plan changes. Given most people come in there just to update their teams comp, you'd think there would be a big button for this on the front page, but instead you're forced to use the hamburger menu in the top left.

Once you're in the comp plan, we have bonuses and salary adjustmnets split out onto 2 different tabs, however, when I submit, I need to have both tabs complete as the tabs don't submit individually.

Also, once complete and the process is finished, I have no way of going back in to the comp plan, so I'm trying to write this review without being able to go back in and look at what I saw.

From memory, I remember the team members rating was on one tab, however, it wasn't actually on the bonus tab which is the most relevant place for it to be (this is maybe just a configuration issue for our instance).

On the bonus tab, I did not like how I was not able to adjust bonus using percentages. I instead had to download to an excel, do the %'s then figure out the corresponding dollars to put in the tool. In a perfect world, both fields would be editable, and would adjust each other. Same comment for salary tab.

Overall a lot of opportunities here. Comptrak felt way better and it just feels as though rather than HRSoft taking advantage of the acquisition of Comptrak to make their product better, that they just inherited the customer base and put us on a worse product.

We love how customizable the tool is. We LOVE the team we work with at HRSoft - we truly feel like we are a team working together. We also love how upline leaders can easily see every compensation decision in their downline.

**What do you dislike about HRSoft Compensation Management?**

The hierarchy feature was something we had to get used to; we don't necessarily need a compensation worksheet to go all the way up the "approval" chain, but we've learned to work with it.

We used to utilize Compensation Management in UKG Pro and it was not customizable at all. For our programs we had to do a ton of manual manipulation and/or had to do processes outside of system because UKG couldn't handle it. HRSoft is so customizable that we have no work-arounds and can do everything in system. The HRSoft team has been so amazing to work with as we've built our programs/processes into the tool.

The system is configurable based on our company's needs with multiple currencies, different program rules, eligibility and various incentive programs.  It was also easy for our managers and HR teams to use and submit their compensation recommendations.

The HRSoft project/engagement team completes the majority of the configuration.  While they are undoubtedly amazing to work with, learning along the way and internally managing the tool for any configuration changes is more challenging.

HRSoft streamlines the compensation planning process and upgrades the experience as compared to executing a manual (typically Excel-based) process. The tool has been consistent and has the ability to function in the ways most organizations require for merit cycles, promotion cycles and bonus administration.  Customer support has always been extremely helpful and attentive.

The user interface is modest and the tool is aesthetically built much like an Excel worksheet might be.  There is limited interactivity and the tool needs to be integrated with your HRIS.  It is not natively linked to my company's existing core HRIS system.

We have implemented multiple systems in the last 5 years and this system was by far the easiest process we experienced.  From the Implementation team, to system configuration, this was the best implemetation we had and we were impressed with the level of service we received from HR Soft. The integration from our current HRIS to HR Soft was seamless and has made that management of employee data very simple.   We use this for our quarterly reviews, so it has removed the manual prcoess we used to perform in excel.

We have not found anything in the system we do not like.   We were able to program the system to our needs and our Management team loves the new system and has said it was so much easier than our previous process.  We are looking forward to all the new products and how they could help our processes.

We used to manually create excel merit workbooks for each Director and above and in some quarters, that could be over 30+ workbooks.   All changes to employee data had to be manually done and resent out.   By partnering with HR Soft, we have been able to eliminate the manual process and made the process seamless for our Management staff.

COMPview is very user-friendly!  When I began my career I had very minimal experience with a compensation planning system and with the assistance of our HRSoft team I was able to learn the system fairly quickly. COMPview facilitates all our yearly comp processes and makes Q1  a lot more manageable. With the amount of features offered, we can tailor the system to make our compensation cycles run smoothly.

From my perspective, the system allows us to do all key aspects of the comp cycles. There are essentially no complaints I have from a systems perspective

Switching to HRsoft's Compensation Management tool was one of the best decisions we've made.  Its user-friendly interface seamlessly integrates with our HRIS, replacing cumbersome spreadsheets.  Our managers love how easy it is to use, and the HRsoft team provides exceptional support, especially during merit increase season.  Plus, the system's flexibility allows us to customize it for both bonuses and our unique needs.

it doesn't quite pull all the fields from our HRIS system so there's still some file uplooads that need to be done. Which leads to extra work with auditing the data.

It is user friendly while doing the salary review for managers. The accuracy level is really high. Gain in terms of efficiency and accuracy for HR admin.

There is only one level of hierachy for the salary review. Also, the transalation for other language like french for example is not so good.

**What do you like best about HRSoft Compensation Management?**

The flexibility and scalability was the reason we selected this software. The support level and implementation was really the pleasant support.  The implementation team really felt more like an extension of our own team and the response and care level was beyond expectations.

At the time of implementing it was the reporting had to be completed by the team and we did not have access to do so.  Recent changes will allow us to do our own reporting so we look forward to this new change.

Fledxibility for annual incentive plans as well as annual merit cycle. We are able to prorate both and use different multipliers across businesses. The administration of a planner attrition and delegation of plan very easy and a huge time saver.

The product does what it is supposed to do.  We have added additional customizations, which is great as we have specific rules and business needs.
Exports were built so that we could export the data, review, and import into our HRIS.
Weekly meetings during testing and go-live each year.
Very good response time from our support/implementation team.
Easy to use.

**What do you dislike about HRSoft Compensation Management?**

There needs to be some sort of integration (API) with our HRIS, in an on-going capacity throughout the comp cycle.  It is very labor intensive to maintain the HRSoft product when we have to manually add any hires, job changes, terminations, etc... that happen during the comp cycle.  Also the adding of new job codes is manual after the initial load.  The OTP process is a nightmare at times.

We needed to retire our home-grown comp system.  We selected HRSoft as our next product.  The system allows our users to access the system when out of the office.  There are built-in workflows.  The custom exports that were built allow us to get our data our of HRSoft, review, and create import files for our HRIS.

We recently implemeted HR Soft for our bonus process. HR Soft seemed to be the only company that could provide a good solution for handling a budget across variouos different countries and currencies.  The implementation team was fantastic and our first bonus run with the new software was a big success.  We had many Managers provide unsolicited positive feedback about the ease of use.
