"Effortless Writing with Minor UI Annoyances"
What do you like best about Grammarly?

I appreciate Grammarly as a final safety net for my digital writing, helping prevent embarrassing typos and punctuation mistakes. The built-in citation finder and AI authorship tools really handle citation and originality concerns for me, and I like how I never have to copy-paste texts because it's just there, like a helpful ghost editor. I find the Knowledge Share feature a game-changer for staying in the flow, as it surfaces company jargon and project context automatically, saving me hours of searching. Plus, the initial setup was extremely easy, and I was up and running in less than five minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Grammarly?

The UI can be quite intrusive. The floating widget often blocks important buttons in Gmail and Slack, and it tends to lag heavily on long documents or complex spreadsheets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Enhances Email Precision, Needs Better Regional Support"
What do you like best about Grammarly?

I use Grammarly to make fewer mistakes in my fast-typed professional and personal emails, and I really like its autocorrect feature. This helps me quickly type responses as errors are automatically rectified without needing manual corrections. Grammarly also solves the problem of bad grammar and punctuation in notes, messages, and emails that I send to colleagues, clients, and friends. I appreciate that it offers a larger and better quality thesaurus compared to what I used before, with responses that feel more humane. Setting it up was very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Grammarly?

There are certain set of vocabulary that Grammarly fails to understand but are a standard part of communication in the Indian regional context. For example, the use of Hinglish is often marked as an error or corrected wrong due to no close match in English. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential for Professional Email Crafting"
What do you like best about Grammarly?

I like that Grammarly gives suggestions with multiple options for the same intent. It provides a variety of suggestions, so I can choose depending on the formality needed. Whether I need a very formal or moderately formal approach, Grammarly offers the flexibility I need. I also appreciate that the initial setup was really easy, and it's convenient that Grammarly is integrated with Microsoft Word, making it easy for me to get suggestions and implement them directly into my emails or documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Grammarly?

I'd like to see improvement in Grammarly with better integration into most word processors, especially open-source ones. It would save time spent copying and pasting text to the Grammarly site. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent writing partner, easy and impactful"
What do you like best about Grammarly?

The feature I like the most about Grammarly is that it comes as an extension. It pinpoints and tells me anywhere in any text while typing that the text is misaligned here. It gives me a red mark where the text is misaligned or doesn't make sense. Then I can just click on it to see what I should use. I really like this because it corrects my text wherever I type. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Grammarly?

I think there is one thing that needs improvement, which is the green dot, as it slightly obstructs when writing something. Instead, while typing, there should be a pin pointer above the extension indicating that grammar skills are active. And when you finish typing, it should show a red or green line, which you can click to correct the text. That green dot sometimes appears above the text, which causes a slight obstruction. "Real-Time Corrections and Clarity Suggestions That Keep Writing Professional"
What do you like best about Grammarly?

I like Grammarly because it checks my grammar and spelling while I am typing emails or updating customer details. In my previous customer service and withdrawal-related work, I had to send replies to customers daily. Grammarly helps me avoid small mistakes and improves sentence clarity before sending emails.

It also suggests better words which makes my communication more clear and professional. Earlier I had to read emails again and again before sending, but now the mistakes are highlighted instantly which saves time. I mostly use it while replying to customer queries and preparing basic reports or documentation. The interface is simple and it works well with browser which makes it easy to use in day-to-day tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Grammarly?

One thing I don’t like about Grammarly is that many useful suggestions like tone improvement or better word choice are available only in the paid version. In the free version, some important corrections are locked which can be frustrating sometimes.

Also, while replying to customer emails or updating withdrawal-related documentation, Grammarly keeps showing suggestions continuously which sometimes breaks my writing flow. In some cases, it changes the sentence in a way that the original meaning feels slightly different. Another issue is that it does not work properly without internet, so it becomes difficult to use when the connection is slow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Everyone should use this tool"
What do you like best about Grammarly?

Grammarly is just so easy to use and is baked into everywhere you'd be doing word processing on the internet. It unobtrusively makes suggestions wherever you are, and even if you consider yourself a good writer (like I do) it helps you consider different phrasings. Sometimes I take its suggestions, other times I don't, but having them helps me understand the range of ways I could choose to communicate. Ironically it's trying to suggest ways to clean up this very review! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Grammarly?

I'm sure I wouldn't have this problem if I paid for premium, but its more advanced suggestions that it teases but doesn't show can be frustrating. But I get that it's just trying to show me there's more under the hood than I'm currently using. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Smart Writing Assistant That Saves Time"
What do you like best about Grammarly?

What I like most about Grammarly is how seamlessly it fits into my everyday writing without getting in the way. It’s not only about catching basic grammar and spelling mistakes—it also helps improve clarity and tone, which makes a real difference when I’m writing emails, documents, or even casual messages.

The newer AI features are a strong addition, too. They feel more like a writing assistant than just a correction tool, helping me rephrase sentences, adjust tone, and sometimes even organize my ideas better when I’m stuck. Overall, it saves me time and makes my writing feel more polished without requiring much extra effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Grammarly?

One thing I don’t particularly like about Grammarly is that it can sometimes feel a bit too eager with suggestions, especially when it comes to tone or style changes. Not every recommendation matches what I originally meant, so I still have to go through them carefully rather than just accepting everything automatically.

Also, while the newer AI features can be helpful, they sometimes come across as a little generic or less natural—especially for more nuanced, context-specific writing. And in a professional or organizational setting, it isn’t always straightforward to integrate or justify using it, which ultimately limits how often I rely on it as part of my workflow. "Essential Writing Tool with Excellent Plagiarism Checks"
What do you like best about Grammarly?

I use Grammarly for editing my documents, checking grammar, and rephrasing. The best thing I like about this app is it gives nice rephrased texts, and I can also select the English locale - US or UK. It solved my problem for punctuation errors and spelling mistakes. Additionally, it provides the plagiarism check, which is very useful for every writer. Grammarly has been a life-saver for me when writing SOPs for students, as the rephrase option helps me fit sentences in the correct tone, and the plagiarism check allows me to cross-check each text for originality. Switching to Grammarly for plagiarism checks made my tasks more reliable compared to other online tools that often showed mistakes. Also, the initial setup was too easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Grammarly?

I think they should provide better features in their free plan. Although I have a paid plan, many students can't afford the premium version and face this issue. The free plan can only check the grammatical errors. They should improve this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quick Setup, Essential for Efficient Editing"
What do you like best about Grammarly?

I use Grammarly for work and everyday tasks. It helps me solve issues with punctuation and spelling when I'm typing too fast. I like that it helps me finish tasks quickly because I don't have to go back and do too much editing. I appreciate how easy it is to use and how super easy it was to install. I mostly use the browser extension to correct punctuation and grammar, which are the only features I needed so far. The initial setup was super quick and surprisingly easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Grammarly?

Sometimes I wish there were a feature you could toggle off and on that auto-edits your text, so that you don't have to go back and hover over every word to manually make the edits, and I want the extension to be easier to turn off and on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Writing Enhancement Across All Platforms"
What do you like best about Grammarly?

What I appreciate most about Grammarly is how effortlessly it enhances my writing as I work. It not only catches grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors right away, but also offers suggestions for clearer phrasing and improved tone, all while preserving my original meaning. The integration with browsers and apps means I can use it across different platforms, from emails to documents, making it feel like a discreet writing assistant. Instead of disrupting my process, it helps me feel more confident and efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Grammarly?

What I find frustrating about Grammarly is that some of its advanced suggestions can come across as overly forceful or too generic, particularly when I'm working on creative or informal pieces. There are times when it misreads the context and recommends changes that don't really fit the tone I want. Additionally, a lot of the most helpful features are only available in the premium version, which can be restrictive for those of us who depend on the free plan.
