Ever since I started recording my meetings with Grain, I've recalled each session and what was discussed in 1/2 of the time I used to.
Grain has become essential software for running my business as a Solopreneur. It feels as if I have a team that joins me in the meetings and takes care of writing specific to-dos, summarizing discussions, pointing out key moments, and ensuring every moment is transcribed.
I also love that I can have my AI recorded join into meetings that I cannot join personally. Impressive feature and has saved me a lot of time. On top of this, having the ability to automate Grain with Zapier has been a huge time saver by automatically sending follow-up emails of the recordings to my clients.
Even my clients are impressed with the software after I share post-meeting notes. Highly recommended. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have not found anything I disklike about the software so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Grain allows us to quickly & easily review, analyze, and share the key moments that matter most to our clients and team development. The automated insights and coaching capabilities have been invaluable in driving growth and refining our strategies for both client coaching and team development.
We have a lot of neurodivergent team members & clients so we use grain for every single call even one offs or impromptu calls (those are where the magic happens half the time). We really love how Grain allows us to stay fully engaged in our calls, knowing we can easily revisit details whenever needed.
Their support team has been really awesome and communicative whenever we have questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If you use hubspot its got a native integration, alas, I do not use hubspot so I gotta do a bit more work to get the recaps etc integrated into my client notes & other automations. Thats really the only dislike and its not even a biggie. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Grain has been a fantastic addition to our toolkit, particularly due to its smooth integration with HubSpot, which significantly simplifies our workflow. The option to pull in Zoom cloud recordings without the need for an assistant to join every call is a brilliant feature, allowing us to record key information unobtrusively. Grain’s approach of delivering essential functionality at a fraction of the cost of other platforms like Gong is a huge benefit, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that need robust call recording, sentiment analysis, and workflow insights without the hefty price tag. The customisable templates and smart tags are excellent for tailoring the software to our specific needs, making it easier to track important phrases and outcomes in client conversations. There are a few limitations with phrase recognition in smart tags, which can make it challenging to capture specific phrases consistently across calls. It would also be helpful to see more options for currency and regional language support, as these would make the platform even more user-friendly for non-U.S. markets, especially in terms of UK English nuances. I found Grain very easy to adapt and implement in our company. Zach was very responsive to my questions during our trial and we could use it out of the box. It was easy to create new templates and our team has learned greatly from the coaching feature. We integrated Grain with out HubSpot account and already have seen great improvement in our data. The integration with HubSpot is simple, for meetings you are not able to different a meeting from a call, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Grain has become a critical part of our platform stack, significantly enhancing our workflow for sales and customer meetings. We've been recording all our meetings through Grain, and its ability to produce accurate summaries and detailed transcripts has streamlined our processes immensely.
Not only does Grain save us time by generating summaries, but it also helps us create valuable assets and proposals directly from meeting content. This has improved the speed and quality of our follow-ups, ensuring we never miss a detail.
The platform is intuitive, reliable, and seamlessly integrates into our workflow. Grain has truly transformed how we approach meeting documentation and follow-up tasks. I highly recommend it to any team looking to maximize efficiency and make the most out of their meeting data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have been wanting to do more with its API but haven't gotten around to it. It would be nice to be able to use the AI outputs to store in my project management tool so that I can take actions from meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The AI is really smart, it always knows whats the preamble and non-work related chat in meetings and doesnt bother summarising them. And the notes it generates are really really good, better than competitors that I've tried such as Fathom and Gemini Notes in Google Meet.
The integration with Google calendar is perfect, and the ability to upload recordings later without having to add in the meeting bot is great if customer or participant doesnt like the idea of an AI bot being their.
It's feature rich but not complicated to use and setup, the CSM was brilliant at walking me through admin and setup even after I had had a trial.
We use it internally in lots of meetings as well as in customer meetings. Internally its been great to help people who miss meetings, and invaulable at driving accountability in those meetings ensuring that decisions are made and action points are discussed. With customer meetings it's saved countless hours and therefore countless $'s from our sales and CSM teams having to manuall input notes into our HubSpot CRM. That I didnt find it years ago!
In all seriousness, there's not a lot I dislike about it. The Productboard integration isn't amazing, but we've gotten what we need by using Zapier instead and using that to send thigns to Productboard.
And if you uplaod a recording you cant push notes to your CRM (but I was told they are working on that) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Grain is a seemless experience that just does what you'd expect it to and then that much more.
User friendly interface, updates that just make sense, and a very helpful support team.
Great integration with Hubspot that saves me 30 minutes per sales call I have.
I use them to transcribe my sales calls and help my team with sales call reviews Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If you're looking for the biggest name in the industry they might not be for you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Grain was easy to setup and works exactly as we need it. It runs in the background, doesn't have bugs, and integrates perfectly with our Hubspot instance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish it were a bit easier to get actionable insights to help train AEs. I know the Grain team is thinking about this too so I expect they will launch new features here in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Grain has been most helpful to us as an add-on to all of your internal and external meetings. Some of our most favorite uses of it include: highlighting quotes; highlighting material to be used in creating social media content; sharing a transcript of the meeting with a client or our students; being able to easily revisit the meeting, search on a keyword, and call up what we want in a matter of seconds.
We've been using the Grain app for over 3 years and their onboarding and on-going support makes it so easy to learn how to use. Implementation in our business was super simple because Grain support was there to answer any questions that we had.
Not a workday goes by that we don't use Grain as part of every meeting we have. It easily integrates with Zoom and we just love that feature too! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There isn't anything I don't like about Grain. They are an absolutely amazing, dedicated, and friendly company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've tried many different call recording, note taking, and meeting review apps. Grain is the only one that makes this whole process easy to use. Their snippets, talk tracks, and call searching is very easy compared to Gong and other. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing really yet at this point. I don't see anything arising either. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Grain provides great value for the price. We moved off of a leader in the space and didn't feel like we lost much from what we were using the tool for. Grain's team has been super helpful in ensuring we know how to use the product and offered to do multiple trainings with the team to get the most out of the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I look forward to when they have a mobile app. I used a competitor previously that had an App which made it easy to listen and give feedback to team members on-the-go. I think a native SFDC integration would be great as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
