What do you like best about GetResponse MAX?

What do you like best about GetResponse MAX?

Thanks to GetResponse MAX, our email campaigns have reached a higher level. The deliverability of our messages has significantly improved. Our newsletters now look professional. Our sales team has access to reports that help them promote our products more effectively. The interface is very intuitive and user-friendly. What do you like best about GetResponse MAX?

We primarily needed a tool to send daily job notifications to all of our colleagues. GetResponse become the obvious choice since they could meet our techincal requirements, e.g. conditional formatting, for a reasonable price. Even though some technical details weren't obvious at first, we got good customer support and was able to find an easy way of achieving our goal in the end. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

At the moment the statistics don't show Gmail Spam Complaint Rates that are made directly to their ISP, which is an disadvantage since >50% of our recipient are Gmail-addresses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about GetResponse MAX?

The Ease of Use is a standout; it has an intuitive, self-explanatory interface that allows even new users to easily create and send effective newsletters. For our setup, the Ease of Implementation and Frequency of Use are important, as we act as an agency for our cooperative clients, each with its own sub-account under our Master Account. This structure is ideal, giving each team the independence to manage their newsletters while letting us oversee and assist as needed. The contact management and segmentation tools are another high point—they make organizing, updating, and fine-tuning lists simple. The Customer Support team is also highly responsive, which has been valuable as we continue to integrate GetResponse MAX’s Number of Features into our operations. What do you dislike about GetResponse MAX?

It would be beneficial to have a cross-account template-sharing function, allowing us to apply the same templates across multiple accounts and improve our workflow. What do you like best about GetResponse MAX?

Our company has been using GetResponse MAX for almost 5 years now both by the marketing team for customer newsletters and by the PR team for press releases. Although the latter might not be the intended use-case, it has served us well for both. The drag-and-drop editor and list management are easy to get into even for colleagues who haven't worked with GetResponse before and don't know HTML to code their own emails, while the list management and automated mailings in particular allow for some powerful features like sending specific emails to specific customers based on any relevant critera. You have to dig a bit deeper to fully grasp those more advanced features as they are not always as intuitive as the more surface-level features, but once you get the hang of it, I've yet to find a workflow I couldn't realise.

In those 5 years, we had only one major problem where our emails weren't delivered to a larger number of recipients, but their support team was quick to respond and fix this issue, so I won't hold that against them.

Note that the MAX platform includes many more features like embeddable chats, automated SMS replies, Webinars, and more. We haven't used those either because they don't make sense for our business or we simpy didn't have the chance to try them yet, which is why I can comment only on the core features around mailings. Those, as outlined above, work great however, and I can highly recommend GetResponse for them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GetResponse MAX?

Honestly, besides the aforementioned deliverability problem that was quickly resolved, I've only ever found small nitpicks here and there. Things like for example not being able to set a default color for newly inserted buttons in the drag-and-drop editor, or some features being buried maybe one submenu too deep, making them not obvious and requiring a look into the documentation (which is fine, but could sometimes be a bit more in-depth), or moving to a different place after a redesign of the backend. None of that is a dealbreaker, though, and even here I've found our account managers to be quite responsive to feedback. The biggest letdown are probably A/B tests which wolrk fine, but are limited in their reportings and in their setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about GetResponse MAX?

We use it primarily for email marketing - our newsletter communication, and so far it's been super intuitive and straightforward. Allows us to design and adjust our designs as we go which is helpful based on how frequently we use the software. Various gif options to include, loads well and the preview option helps you see how the messages look in dark/light modes, on mobiles. I personally love the 'perfect timing' option which allows you to send the message at the most convenient time based on their past behaviour and their timezone.
