"Secure and Flexible Authentication Platform with a Willing Support Team"
5/5
What do you like best about Frontegg?

Frontegg strikes the right balance between enterprise-grade security and a modern self-service user experience. One of the most valuable aspects of the platform is their team’s willingness to work with us on customization. Our customers are used to a highly tailored login flow, and Frontegg made sure we could meet those expectations—collaborating with us directly when customizations or new feature requests were needed. Their documentation is solid, and when we had questions during integration, the Frontegg team was available and helpful throughout the process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Frontegg?

While Frontegg’s platform is robust, integrating it into a legacy auth flow required more effort than expected. Some of our infrastructure used older technologies, which meant we had to invest additional time in adapting Frontegg’s SDKs and endpoints to fit our environment. Additionally, while Frontegg is open to new feature requests, turnaround time for those enhancements can take time, though this isn't unexpected when new features need to be developed. "Support is the best"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Frontegg?

The most helpful thing about Frontegg is the support the teams provide for our specific use cases. They are quick to respond whenever we are stuck with a problem and will jump on a call with a particular use case with their platform and what we are trying to accomplish. Having the ability to Slack them anytime is an amazing feature to have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Frontegg?

While Frontegg offers a strong foundation for authentication and user management, the customization options for the hosted login UI are somewhat limited. Some of our users were confused by tenant-switching flows in multi-tenant scenarios. We also encountered occasional challenges integrating with our existing RBAC system due to Frontegg's opinionated structure. It’s a solid tool, but could benefit from more flexibility and clearer guidance for complex enterprise use cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for enterprise SaaS, less flexible for SMB phone-based auth"
5/5
What do you like best about Frontegg?

Frontegg provides a robust authentication and user-management layer out of the box. The multi-tenant organization system is solid, and it’s great for B2B SaaS platforms that follow standard email-based onboarding flows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Frontegg?

Our product targets SMBs where many users prefer phone-based logins (OTP). Frontegg requires email addresses for organization members, which makes sense for enterprise use cases but doesn’t fit well with SMB-focused products like ours. We eventually switched to Clerk, which supports phone-based authentication natively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Integration and Exceptional Support with Frontegg"
5/5
What do you like best about Frontegg?

Implementing Frontegg has been one of the most straightforward experiences with an identity management platform. The ease of integration, especially during the initial setup, is awe-inspiring. Their support team stands out—they're responsive, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful throughout the onboarding process. We also appreciated the flexibility in UI customization, which allowed us to maintain consistency with our brand. Managing multiple sub-vendors has been simplified, and the migration from our previous provider was smoother than expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Frontegg?

One area that could be improved is the documentation. While it's generally solid, enhanced search capabilities and clearer differentiation between various ID types would make navigation easier and reduce setup friction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
